Nestled on a private mountain top overlooking Pickwick lake. This cottage was recently completely remodeled and offers the most relaxing stay. This property has beautiful lake views and its secluded spot on the lake, right across from bear creek, will be the perfect lake getaway for a couple or a small family. We have just added stairs down to the water! We also added a dock and a gazebo with amazing views.
There are two public boat ramps conveniently located 5 minutes ( less than a mile ) from property.

Summary: Me and my wife came up from central Alabama to stay to fish Pickwick everything was great with the property never had to contact the property managers but had plenty of instruction if we needed to we stayed March 14th-16th and we caught catfish off the dock with no issues probably close to 50lbs worth in one evening cabin was perfect for what we needed.

Summary: My husband and I had the most amazing weekend here! The view from the house was so beautiful. We also brought our boat. The launch was a 3 minute drive away from the house. Launching the boat and keeping it at the house was easy and convenient. It is the perfect weekend getaway.

Summary: The hosts answered immediately, previous review stated not the place for you if you don't care for spiders, that's 100% true. For house cleaning fee, hoped for a little better housekeeping but overall, worth the trip and money.

Summary: Perfect little A Frame for a weekend getaway. The host was extremely helpful and the view was amazing. We would definitely stay again! Some reviews mentioned that there was no where close to buy items you might have forgotten but I thought I noticed a little market a mile or two into town.

Summary: The view of Pickwick Lake is absolute perfection, especially sunrise. The rental was exactly as described. Clean. We had an issue checking in with the code box. I contacted the owner and she sent someone over immediately. We were in within 20 minutes. Very pleased with our stay! We will stay here again in the future.

Summary: Rented this for a couple nights on our anniversary trip down the Natchez Trace. What a super cute little cottage. Perfect for the two of us but there would have been room for the kids too. We wanted something quiet - and it was. Gorgeous sunrises and sunsets. A little sketch getting down that gravel drive on the motorcycle is my only thing negative that I can say. Would def recommend. Comfy bed, clean and the AC was crankin when we arrived after a long hot day on the bike.

Summary: First off the owners are fantastic with communication. The property was awesome. If you hate spiders, then this isn't the place for you. I wasn't a fan of the steps coming back from the dock but that's only cause I'm chunky and lazy. Best get your groceries before arriving cause there is nothing around😂.
