Situated on more than 10 acres of Texas Hill Country and with amazing countryside and sunset views, this home is just 10 minutes from historic downtown Fredericksburg, making it the perfect place to stage your next vacation! Inside, this lovely studio has lots of rustic charm, its décor a nod to the many heads of cattle that graze the surrounding pastures. The home also includes modern amenities such as beautiful floors, a mounted 50-inch flatscreen TV for streaming a good Netflix movie, and a kitchenette equipped with an induction cooktop and a stainless steel refrigerator. After preparing a delicious meal, enjoy your creation at the dining table or take it al-fresco out on the deck. Of course, there's nothing like a little Texas barbecue, and a walk along the path will take you to the gazebo, lovingly referred to as the "Party Barn," featuring two gas grills, an outdoor dining table, a gas fire pit, and plenty of seating for gathering with friends and family. Extended-stay guests will have access to the Laundry Barn, which contains a clothes washer, dryer, and dishwasher. Nearby attractions include Enchantment Rock, National Museum of the Pacific War, Pioneer Museum, Wildseed Farms, Ft. Martin Scott Historic Site, Fredericksburg Trade Days, Vereins Kirche Museum, Old Tunnel State Park Bat Cave, Lyndon B. Johnson National State Park, and many more! Summary: A little remote and out of the busy lil town of F’burg but close enough to get back in town within 20 minutes … great location with all the amenities as described . Highly recommend this spot .

Summary: Overall, our stay was very pleasant and enjoyable. We really like the surroundings and the atmosphere of the property. It was very clean and was exactly what was stated in the post. Yes, it is 15-minutes out of Fredericksburg, but the time to get back and forth is minimal enough to enjoy being "out" where the cows roam and "in" enough to enjoy everything offered in F-town. We will definitely consider visiting here again and would recommend others stay here if you get a chance. It's a very nice property and great surroundings.

Summary: Perfect slice of heaven in the country! Owners thought of everything that someone might need. On our last night, we enjoyed the firepit and stars that we so rarely see in the big city. Ventured into Fredricksburg, which was an easy drive, hiked Enchanted Rock and drove into Harper for breakfast every morning. Couldn't have asked for anything more!

Summary: My fiancée and I went on a weekend trip here during the Christmas parade time and it was amazing. The cottage was very nice and very clean. We could not have been more please with the location. About 15-20 minutes from Main Street where all of the shops, restaurants, and activities are at but is also secluded for a quiet stay. We would definitely stay here again and recommend that anyone else coming stays here.

Summary: We stayed in one house on this property, which had several houses located in close proximity. Our house was clean and had all necessary conveniences, particularly wireless and cable. If I was in Fredericksburg with a group of friends, this property would be perfect. The grounds are well-lit at night. There is plenty of communal outside seating. The shower worked great as did the A/C and heater. (Temperatures can be widely variable in the country.) One minor nitpick. The check-in email we received gave us a code for a "lockbox". There was a lockbox, but the code was for the keypad on the door, which was invisible because it was matte black, same as the door handle. We called the property management, and fortunately they had someone dispatched immediately /, and who showed us, yes, there is a keypad on the door. In the future, I recommend making it clear that the door has a keypad and the code is for the keypad.
