Welcome to Kasa Kosecki! Established in 2020, this is a new venture for us and we love opening up our home to invite guests from near and far.
FOR BOOKINGS BETWEEN APRIL 1- MAY 19, 2023 THERE IS A 3 NIGHT MIN. FOR MAY 19-JUNE 23, 2023 THERE IS A 4 NIGHT MIN. FOR BOOKINGS BETWEEN JUNE 23 - SEPT 4, 2023, OUR BOOKINGS START ON SATURDAYS OR SUNDAYS AND END ON SATURDAYS. PLEASE INQUIRE WITHIN AS SOME DATES HAVE BEEN BLOCKED FOR OUR FAMILY USE OF THE ENTIRE HOME.
We offer a two bed/1 bath condo-style granny suite, within our beautiful lakefront home. Completely private though from the moment you enter through the keyless code door, you will love waking up to the view of the lake (room #1) or getting ready in your own walk-in closet (room #2). A complete bath with upgraded vanity and high-end lighting all on one level for easy manipulation of those pesky suitcases. Sit on the comfy, trundle couch and binge-watch Netflix on the smart tv, or curl up with a good book in the window on the lounger, all above ground less than 10 ft from the water. Cook up a storm in the kitchen, or chill on your full sized deck with a cocktail (I swear they taste better when on a lake!) We have a BBQ for use, or sit by the fire and roast marshmallows - pls check with host first to ensure there isn't a fire ban.
We are mere minutes from the city of Cambridge with access to restaurants and grocery stores. Parking is free and so are the stunning sunsets. The lake is known for fishing year round and does not allow motorized boats, to ensure a more quiet water experience.
We have a pedal boat you can use, but you must bring your own PFD's to access the water. The kayaks are not ours, as we just store them so we can use them when we would like, as part of the arrangement for storage. They MAY be available to rent, with permission of the owners, but not guaranteed. We cannot answer as to their availability aside from on a day by day basis. As we live on site, we are available to help as much, or as little as you'd like. Come check us out, and allow us to host you in your home away from home.
Please note, that the backyard is not fenced and this is a rural property with wildlife roaming around. Therefore, if your pet is accepted (must be disclosed upfront and accepted by the Owners due to allergies, age restriction of 2 years minimum), it must be on a least at all times outside including when relieving itself, be up to date on all shots, never left at the property unattended and is not allowed on the furniture or beds. Please pack accordingly.

Summary: From the moment we arrived, we loved our experience at this lovely cottage on the lake. Beautiful inside and out, it is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the serenity. Lovely host who was quick to respond to all correspondence. Will definitely consider staying here again.

Summary: Stayed here with a family of 5. My three kids and husband. Miranda and Dan were always quick to respond and assist with anything needed. The place is well maintained with just about all you will need. They allowed us use of their floating dock which the kids had a lot of fun jumping off of. I brought my paddle board along and the kids kayaks. They do have a peddle boat and kayaks of their own that you can use. Little lake was calm and enjoyable to paddle around and explore. We found snakes, turtles, frogs, and of course fish. Thank you for having us, we had a lovely time and hope to come back again next summer.

Summary: Rented Miranda’s cottage for a week-long stay and overall my family and I really enjoyed our stay! The inside is very spacious and quite clean (we arrived and it was evident there was a dog staying in the unit prior so my allergies were quite crazy for the first 2 days, but other than that it was very nice and clean), and the hot tub is a very nice additional touch added for guests! The deck and it’s seating is really nice and comfortable, however even though it looks covered above, when it is raining the rain still falls through the wooden flooring above so you still can’t sit below. This was a surprise, as the listing makes it appear as if you would be covered completely from the elements sitting under there. The lake is also really nice for fishing, seeing wildlife (beavers & turtles) but is quite weed-y so it would be difficult to swim around the dock and you’d prefer to swim out into the middle of the lake where there is another dock for use as it’s in deeper water and no weeds are around. The sunset view was very very beautiful and every night the sky was gorgeous and a great way to end the day. Overall, our stay was very pleasant and only a few minor issues that we have to report, but we still recommend to anyone looking for a stay away from home in nature & lakefront :)

Summary: Relaxing place to getaway with nice views, sunsets and very clean and comfortable. Couple things I wish I knew - bring your own water as the filtered from fridge still upset my stomach. And also it’s the basement of a home not a private cottage, although the owners are hardly to be seen and very nice still wasn’t obvious based on the listing ( that I can remember). We had a very relaxing week, and weather didn’t cooperate much with chilly temps and rain so we didn’t swim in the lake but did paddle boat which was fun. All in all a great experience!

Summary: This was the perfect setting for a quiet birthday get away. Little lake was perfect for kayaking and paddle boarding. Miranda and Dan are very attentive hosts and thier space is lovely and comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked and the furniture is very comfortable. Lots of Windows so lots of natural sunlight which is up lifting.

Summary: The unit was very well equipped and the owners very welcoming. The property was quiet and we experienced considerable wild life. The sunsets, as advertised, were lovely. We did have a problem with the Wifi but the owners were diligent in trying to rectify the issue, and indicated this had not occurred previously. We required a place to stay while our house was being used for travel quarantine, so it wasn't quite a holiday for us. I am sure guests will enjoy staying here while they vacation in the region.
