Welcome! Come and have a fabulous holiday in our gorgeous Scandinavian log cabin holiday home which is set in the Harleyford Estate, a lovely private country estate conveniently located on the River Thames between London and Oxford!
The space
Fancy something a little different? Enjoy your holiday in a beautiful private country estate with both a golf course and marina. It is set on the banks of The River Thames between Oxford and London and within only a few miles of both Marlow and Henley-on-Thames.
Our guests often go sightseeing and shopping in both London and Oxford and then return to enjoy the wonderful walks through the Estate and along the river to Marlow or the surrounding villages for a good meal at one of the many excellent pubs and restaurants in the area.
The log cabin is a gorgeous, single story Scandinavian holiday home with a vaulted living room, a fully equipped kitchen and large, south-facing veranda with a fine view. The master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom and there is a further double bedroom and bathroom. Your fully furnished cabin offers you spacious and fun living accommodation. There is WIFI and 2 Smart TVs in the log cabin for your use, one in the sitting room and one in the master bedroom.
This peaceful setting has private parking for two cars.
The log cabin is very different to most holiday homes and our guests always comment on their memorable holiday and as a result, many return more than once!

Our gorgeous Scandinavian log cabin is set in the Harleyford Estate, a lovely private country estate conveniently located between London and Oxford. It is only a few miles of both Marlow and Henley-on-Thames on the River Thames and has both a golf course and a marina.

Summary: We, as a family, had a great time in Pam's apartment during the one week we stayed... the view was amazing and apartment's proximity to restaurants, shopping mall (where you can also find a great grocery shop and easy parking - if you are renting a car), ferry terminals and even a gym made this trip special and more enjoyable...Pam's communication before, during and after the trip was also notable...she really tried very hard to make our stay a memorable one...We definitely recommend this apartment to couples, families with children and even to small friend groups...if we will ever had a chance to go back to Malta, this will be the place we will call home again...

Summary: The lodge has all you should need for a get away holiday yet is close to Marlow and Henley on Thames. The river is only a few hundred yards away. There are walking areas all around and the Harleyford Estate has a lovely approach to the lodge area. The lodge itself was cool at a time when new were in a midst of a heat wave. There are sitting areas both inside and on the outside terrace. The bedrooms are comfortable and the kitchen is well provided. We would definitely recommend a stay here.

Summary: Pam was an excellent host during our 2 month stay. The cabin is spacious (2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms), comfortable, well equipped, located in a haven of nature, with tranquility and only a par 4 from the beautiful and varied Harleyford Golf Club and 5 minutes drive to Marlow. It is secure thanks to the watchful eyes of the security service. The neighbours are very pleasant and welcoming. We enjoyed our holiday so much that we have booked it again for next year. We highly recommend this property.

Summary: This was our third visit to the log cabin and the magic of this luxurious accomodation in the unique surroundings of the Harleyford Estate does not wear off. Pam and Charlie were as welcoming and helpful as always and at Easter our grandchildren enjoyed hunting for eggs amongst the splendid carpet of bluebells. All this and less than 30 minutes from Heathrow.

Summary: This was our second visit and it went as well as the first last summer ; superb efficient contact with Pam for the arrangements then we had a lovely Christmas Holiday with family visits , everyone loved the cabin and its surroundings. Highly recommended.

Summary: We stayed in the log cabin from August 24 to sept 5 2016. The house was very confortable and well equipped and very clean . We could perfectly relax in this place in full nature ( we had the visit of a lot of squirrels and even a fox ).We could walk on the footpaths nearby along the Thames. For us, french people, Marlow and Henley are little towns typically "british" and well situated between London and Oxford that we could easily visit. All was remarquably organized for our stay.
