This Immaculate 1200 sq ft cottage is only a 50 minute drive north of Grand Rapids and is located on the beautiful 1350 acre Croton waterway (between the Croton and Hardy dams). Completely remodeled with white kitchen, quartz counters, bright new bathroom with seated shower, 2 bedrooms (each one with a queen bed ), 2 sitting areas (one with a queen size sofa sleeper and the other with a large gray sectional that seats 6). Our open floor plan cottage has a beautiful dining area with vaulted ceiling and a large, expandable table that seats up to 10, offering panoramic water views with its surrounding windows. Relax on our large wrap-around deck and enjoy the breeze that comes off the river, but if it gets too warm, escape into the comfy cottage with central air conditioning. Chill at the fire pit or fish along our 100 feet of sea wall frontage with 2 docks. Sway on our beautiful waterfront swing as you sip your morning coffee and look for the majestic bald eagles who nest in the treetops just across the river. Enjoy 5 bikes that are available for your use and ride them along the roadside bike path that extends from the Croton Dam to the Hardy Dam. There are also 6 kayaks (Five adult-size and one youth size) available for you to go exploring on the water. Gorgeous retaining walls and numerous outdoor activities in the area make this cottage the perfect place for your family to relax outdoors and enjoy the perfect location on the river.
The area surrounding Eagles Landing Cottage has much to offer, including great restaurants, shopping, and river tubing (with Wisner rentals available at Croton Dam). We are near the family-friendly Croton Campground and the Croton Trading Post, which serves delicious pizza and Hudsonville ice cream, enjoyed by all the locals. Bring along your mountain bikes, since we're just two miles away from the trailhead for the 47 mile "Dragon" mountain bike trail.

Summary: Property just as pictured. Clean. Beautiful location. LOVE the beautiful window view of river. The spacious deck, seating, and dedicated fire pit all got frequent use! We saw bald eagles twice directly across river. Very peaceful and quiet. Use of kayaks an added bonus. My husband and I were there to take advantage of The Dragon Trail mountain bike trail around perimeter of Hardy Dam Pond. This VRBO was perfectly located for short drive to various segment access points. Would definitely stay here again if in the area. Hosts were great as well.

Summary: The house is absolutely beautiful. The owners did incredible designing and laying out this beautiful house on Croton Pond. There is nothing quite like the peace of drinking your morning coffee at the table in a warm house with a full window view of the water. The house was absolutely the perfect size for my family of 4. The linens and kitchen are well stocked for any needs that could come up. The house was very clean and clearly well taken care of. Highly recommend staying at Eagles Landing!

Summary: Due to the warmer than usual temps this October, there wasn't much autumn color in Mid Michigan. No worries tho! The cottage was fantastic and we had a wonderful time. This cottage has everything you need for a comfortable and fun trip. And the views of Croton Pond are spectacular. Dawn and Todd are attentive and gracious hosts. We would definitely stay there again.

Summary: The cottage is gorgeous and Todd and Dawn have supplied everything you could possibly need. The outdoor space is beautiful. The view of the river is amazing and it is so peaceful and quiet. We fished right off of the dock. We've been doing home rentals, B&B's, etc. for YEARS now and this is by far the best place we have ever stayed at. Todd and Dawn are super nice and respond promptly to any questions and/or concerns. Don't pass this one by!

Summary: This cabin is special... bright, cheerful decor with everything you need to have a great stay. Great view and access to the lake. Sun room overlooking the lake is beautiful. Watch for the bald eagles flying right in front of the deck. Owners were gracious and friendly. Everything in the write up was exactly correct. 5 stars 🌟
