Take a look at this gorgeous 4460 sq.ft. house with stunning views and its own private pool. It is the ideal space for families looking to get away to the perfect vacation home. Enjoy the privacy, beautiful views and warm weather dips in the pool. All one has to do is step inside to fully appreciate the beauty, serenity and peaceful nature of the home and the surroundings. This a a fabulous place for a staycation and a quiet setting for working from home. Great place for golfing enthusiasts, wine tours and wTer sports.
The space
The house has three stories, 5 bedrooms, with7 beds. There are four bedrooms on the top floor and one on the main floor, two full bathrooms on the top floor and on the bottom floor a full bathroom with steam shower. The main floor has a dedicated great room, dining area, open kitchen, family room, deck, laundry room and a half bathroom. The lower floor also has a pool table, bathroom with steam shower, as well as a sitting room. The salt water pool is available May to September depending upon weather, the back yard also has a BBQ, outdoor dining area, bar fridge, ice chest and loungers as well as plenty of floaties for the pool
Guest access
Guests have full access to the house with the exception of one room in the basement that is used for storage.
Interaction with guests
We are just around the corner from the house and can be contacted at any time via message, phone or email. Guests are required to advise us if there are additional guests beyond the amount stated in the reservation request. The house has an alarm system which is disarmed during guest stays as well as a monitored surveillance camera around the perimeter of the front of the house which is on at all times. There is no camera in the pool area for reasons of privacy.
Other things to note
The City of Kelowna is just across the bridge, beaches with lake access as well as wineries are all within a 10 minute drive. Summers in the Okanagan Valley offer swimming, paddle boarding, kayaking, jet skis and boating. There are hiking trails in Rose Valley Park, only a 5 minute walk from the property. The location is ideally suited for visitors seeking to participate in all the activities that the Okanagan Valley has to offer! A quick trip up the highway will take you to Peachland and Penticton on one side and Kelowna and Lake Country on the other. West Kelowna is the most centrally located area in the Okanagan Valley. While this property is advertised for a period of less than 30 days we only accept 30 day bookings in order to comply with City of West Kelowna bylaws. The discount on renting for 30 days instead of 2 weeks means the prices are nearly the same. Long term off-season rentals available at 75% discount

Summary: The house is beautiful and as described. My son and his friends loved the very large bedroom with 3 queen beds and the pool table. The beds were very comfortable. Neighbourhood is quiet and just what we were looking for. Barbara is so lovely and responsive. Thank you

Summary: This property is perfect for a family vacation ! We had plenty of room to spread out, and lots of spaces for family time. The location is very quiet and private, but close to fun things to do in the Kelowna area like restaurants, wineries, golf and the lake. The hosts are easy to communicate with, and are very helpful. Would stay here again !!

Summary: I echo the past reviews, the home, its location and Barbara are all great! My family and I rented Barbara’s house for several weeks in July 2021 and it was comfortable and relaxing. We loved waking up to the wonderful view and enjoyed the great pool everyday. Even the smoke could not stop us from enjoying the great outdoor that the home offer. Also, we really like the privacy of the location. A nice break after enjoying all the activities and wineries Kelowna has to offer. Thank to Barbara for making our getaway exactly what we needed!

Summary: We go out to Kelowna every year and this year we decided to take advantage of our work from home situation by working a month in Kelowna. We stumbled upon Barbara's listing and she was very accommodating and helpful from the very beginning. They had the best COVID policy and was very understanding to the ever changing situation and policies. The house is large and well kept. There was lots of space for us and all our guests to stay comfortably and work remotely for 1 month. The wifi was never an issue for 4+ of us to work remotely. The house is well stocked with an abundance of cleaning supplies, silverware, plates etc. This made our stay very easy as we enjoyed cooking and staying in. The location of this property is in west kelowna and has a spectacular view. I believe this is under-advertised and we loved waking up to the view every day. We also utilized the pool every day and it was extremely comfortable and heated for the young ones. During our stay, Barbara always checked up on us and was very easy to deal with. She made it very easy for us to check in and check out and quickly responded to all my questions. I have nothing but good things to say about this property and would recommend to anyone who would want to stay there. My very small suggestion would be to get a couple more fans for the warm days as we stayed there during peak heat. But I consider this a very very minor recommendation.

Summary: Barbara was such an amazing woman to deal with. She made everything incredibly easy and was so welcoming. The house was the perfect set up for our family. The room over the garage with the three alcoves was perfect for our granddaughters to sleep and hang out in. The adults loved the pool table and we had plenty of space to relax quietly and at the dining room table for all of us to eat together. So nicely situated in a quiet neighborhood with beautiful views over the lake and Kelowna. Plus having Rose Valley Park and the beautiful trails in it was lovely. If you hike to the top, you get a 360 degree view! Beautiful!! Would love to come back during the summer when the pool is open. I’ll bet that would be amazing too. But we loved it!! Even the weather cooperated for us.

Summary: The property is beautiful, in a great location with an amazing view. Barbara is an amazing host, quick to respond and so helpful with recommending local businesses. We had a chef come to prepare us a delicious dinner and there was lots of room for her to cook and for us to be entertained in the dining area. Thanks again Barbara!

Summary: This house worked awesome for 5 couples. Lots of room for everyone. Morning coffee and evening cocktails on the deck enjoying the views was our favourite thing to do. The pool was great for cooling off. Would definitely recommend for a group of friends.
