Absolutely gorgeous water front home with stunning sunset view looking west/southwest over the lake and Adirondack Mountains. Recently renovated and updated in 2020/21. Fully furnished kitchen and bathroom, washer/dryer, high ceilings, air-conditioning in master bedroom, new floors, and all the creature comforts of home. The cottage sits directly on the waterfront and includes a private cove-like beach offering privacy, seclusion, solitude. The protected cove is lined with rock ledges and beaches with lots of places to swim. Enjoy family gatherings or a quite weekend alone with someone special. A tennis court and playground are located a short walk away and nature trails abound nearby. Multiple protected outdoor eating areas to include a secluded "grotto-like" patio, a small private deck overlooking the lake, and a outdoor deck/siting area just below the cottage and above the water front. Come explore the grandeur of Lake Champlain & the nearby Green Mountains and Adirondacks. The cottage is cozy, clean, and comfortable with a full kitchen & bathrooms, pine-sided living/sitting room, and bedrooms fitted with new furnishings. Three comfortable bedrooms. Enjoy the scenery, solitude, fresh air, fall foliage, or simply escape the city or summer heat. Surely one of the best deals in town. Guests have access to a canoe, kayaks, paddles, and life vests (assuming previous guest have not damaged or lost same). Internet WIFI is available but NOT guaranteed.
SECURITY SURVEILLANCE: The property is fitted with a security camera surveillance system comprised on 8 cameras, all of which a mounted on the exterior of the house view exterior/outdoor areas. THERE ARE NO CAMERAS IN THE INTERIOR OF THE HOME OR VIEWING THE INTERIOR OF THE HOME.
LINENS & TOWELS: Guests are responsible for bringing their own linens and towels. There are 2 queen, 1 double, 1 twin, and 1 futon double beds. If guest cannot bring their own linens and towels the owners can provide those items at a cost of $125.00 per stay. This includes the owners laundering those linens.
Pets: Our pet policy is STRICT thus only SMALL HYPOALLERGENIC dogs under 20lbs are allowed. A $150 pet fee will be charged. Discounts:

Holiday Surcharge (Memorial, Independence, and Labor Day Weekends): A 15% surcharge is assessed for the Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday of the listed FEDERAL holiday weekends.

Summary: This is a lovely house with a beautiful view of the lake. We enjoyed the porch for reading and doing puzzles, and the home was the perfect place for our family to unwind, unplug, and relax. It was a hot week, so we appreciated the ceiling fans and the a/c in the master bedroom. While the waterfront is not ideal for swimming, especially for kids (it's shallow but the rocks are slippery and there is a good amount of seaweed), we enjoyed kayaking and paddle boarding in the calm bay. There are lovely lake views all along the point, and we enjoyed evening sunset walks. It was easy to get to nearby towns, and we visited Burlington a few times during our stay. Our favorite local attraction was Cookie Love, the creemee stand just up the road. Vista Lago is clean and beautiful, everything was in working order, and we had just about everything we needed for a low-key week together.

Summary: Three couples were vacationing together. Sitting in the front and looking out over the water with our meals was a favorite activity. We did a lot of swimming, boating and took adventures off to local towns. A wonderful spot to explore!

Summary: Beautiful house and location. The host was very nice and easy to contact. The only down side was that the place was very cold which made it very uncomfortable to be there, the place provided space heaters which we had to move from place to place to keep ourselves warm. Blankets are not warm so I would recommend you bring your own. Other than that we loved the house!

Summary: A group of friends stayed at this property to visit grandchildren who are all students at UVM. The house is modern and comfortable with a beautiful, well equipped kitchen with dishwasher. We all enjoyed the gorgeous views of the lake and mountains from the line of rocking chairs on the enclosed porch. There are a lot of places to hike nearby, everything from easy to challenging.

Summary: If you’re looking for a quiet and relaxing vacation on Lake Champlain, Vista Lago is a lovely choice. Long Point is a nice location and welcoming community. The owners of this house have done a wonderful job updating the property while maintaining its charm. It was clean, comfy, and very well appointed, with a modern kitchen and beautiful south-facing views of the lake.
