This beautiful waterfront home is the perfect place to relax, unwind and create unforgettable memories. Located in a hidden oasis at the end of a well-maintained private road, Osprey Retreat is the perfect place for a week at the lake, or a short weekend getaway. Lounge in the vaulted ceiling great room, or chill on the massive deck overlooking Pigeon Lake. Osprey Retreat is a short drive to historic Bobcaygeon, and close to boat rentals, great fishing etc.
The space
The home is two bedrooms with a luxury King bed in the Master and double sleep chest in the guest room. The house is open concept with a vaulted ceiling great room, large L shaped couch, 4 seater dining set and beautiful kitchen. There is a comforting wood burning fireplace in the corner for those cool nights, although the heat pump and A/C keep the house the perfect temperature.
The house has a massive deck facing the lake with a full dining set, lounge chairs and a gas fireplace.
Other things to note
For winter visitors: The private road is plowed regularly, but if there is snow in the forecast I would recommend snow tires or AWD. There are plenty of winter activities in the area!
For summer visitors: There is a canoe, paddles, lifejackets, bocci ball etc. Note: These lakes do get weedy. I do my best to keep the weeds and rice clear, but by July they hit their peak. That said, they bring a TON of wildlife and great fishing to the area. Canoeing and boating is easily doable, but do not expect pristine waters off the end of the dock.

Summary: Spencer is fantastic, he was extremely thoughtful, accommodating and helped us find local trails and things to do while here for an extended weekend. The property is very well maintained, our Golden Retriever felt at home, just a cozy little spot to relax and get away with the family. We would definitely come back annually. Thanks Spencer!

Summary: The cottage is exactly as pictured, at the end of a very quiet street with gorgeous lakefront property. It is well-equipped with all the comforts of home. We needed a few days of rest and quiet, and we got it here. Highly recommend.

Summary: Very beautiful and peaceful. The property is nicely renovated and furnished, providing all the comforts of home. Spencer was extremely helpful suggesting activities nearby based on our interests and helping in several ways to make our experience just perfect. We would definitely come back.

Summary: We found this property while looking for a place to spend our Honeymoon in the Kawartha lakes. It was the perfect private cozy little cottage with a great lakefront view. We came in the fall and the colours were amazing! The cottage was really clean and supplied with everything you could even think of needing. We especially enjoyed the outdoor propane fireplace, and appreciated the Netflix, Amazon, and Prime Subscriptions. The cottage went over and beyond our expectations and allowed us to have a haven while exploring this beautiful region.
