Positive: We were self catering and the facilities were more than enough for our stay plus the flat is two minutes walk down to the restaurants and the chippie. There’s lots of everything you need and then some in the flat which is well furnished, has great views out over the sea with binoculars included, you can heat the place, if required, with central heating, a coal fire, or both. A seating area outside catches the sun all afternoon and into the evening. There are multiple tv options, dvd’s, books to read, games for the kids and even a box of goodies for them. Emma and Hamish live nearby and will respond to any requests you may have. A great area for touring and Gowan Bank is an ideal base.

Positive: The whole accommodation was excellent and the views were fantastic. Handy to walk down to the pub and the fish restaurant instead of driving elsewhere to eat after a 6hour drive.

Positive: Superb self-catering apartment with views out over the North Sea in the charming fishing village of Gourdon. Excellent for walking or cycling on the coast. Friendly village with a pub, fishmonger/smokery and fish and chip restaurant. We hope to return there one day.
