OUR HOLIDAY HOME IS CLEANED AND SANITISED BY PROFESSIONAL CLEANERS
Set on Beach Road in picturesque fishing village of Johnshaven, Seashore House is a fully furnished, well-equipped holiday villa situated only a few feet from the shoreline. The villa faces south east and offers spectacular panoramic views out across the North Sea and along the coast line towards Montrose.
Accommodating up to eight people, this comfortable property provides well for self catering family groups.
On the ground level, the villa includes a modern kitchen furnished with hi tech appliances and an open plan living and dining area with views to the sea. A large washroom featuring a 'walk-in' shower is located opposite the downstairs bedroom, providing suitable facilities for visitors with restricted mobility. A patio and garden area to the rear completes 'home from home' experience.
The second floor accommodation includes two large well appointed bedrooms (double and twin), both with luxurious ensuite facilities and ample storage units.
Johnshaven is an ideal family holiday destination throughout the year.
Located around 7 miles north of Montrose on the A92, the village is in the heart of the South Aberdeenshire coastal region and within easy access of a range of activities; from nature and heritage trails to castles and stately home visits.
Within Johnshaven itself, visitors can find true relaxation in a welcoming and friendly community. Take a stroll down to the harbour, watch the small fishing boats land their catch and sample lobster from Scotland's largest shellfish merchant. Make use of the recreational facilities at Wairds Park to the rear of Seashore House.
The community managed park provides for all ages; safe play areas, tennis, bowls and putting as well as calendar and seasonal activities for all to enjoy. Take time out to walk along the ancient costal paths through un-spoilt scenery loaded with wildlife, Find a spot to look for dolphins, porpoise and whales in the sparkling waters.

Summary: House accurately as described.Modern clean furnishings.Good wifi.Spectacular views from all rooms. Quiet village. Excellent base for exploring the area. Good road infrastructure to Aberdeen and Dundee. Highly recommmended. Hope to return next year

Summary: My family loved staying at this home! We had plenty of room for my family of 5. Being able to walk into the fishing village or drive 15 minutes into town, this house was the perfect location for seeing Scotland sites on the east coast. The kitchen had everything, the house was super clean....it was beautiful!!

Summary: Well equipped home, 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms. Ideal for what we wanted (2 couples and elderly lady). Excellent location. The home was comfortable and in the most part clean (a previous guest clearly had dogs and the windows were full of nose marks), bits of mould in the bathrooms. Could have done with a grab rail in the downstairs bathroom just to make it a bit more disabled friendly. Lovely and warm, excellent views out to sea and the village of Johnshaven, just a short walk along the coast was very friendly, with a well equipped village shop, seafood shop, cafe and pub selling excellent food. Overall we were very pleased with the house and location. Would recommend to friends.

Summary: We had a lovely week at seashore house It's yards from the sea and everyone in the village is so friendly. The house has everything you need and 3 bathrooms are a bonus espcially if you have family. If you like seafood the lobster shack is a must. Watching the dolphins was an unexpectd surprise. Stephen and Gwen are next door so are on hand if any problems occur. We can definitely recomment this property.

Summary: Stephan and Gwen were delightful hosts and the house was large, comfortable, clean and a beautiful view. The hotel in town had really great food. Make sure you have reservations though. They did help us by letting us do take away when we didn’t. The area had so many great things to see. Really close to Stonehaven (our host told us about it) and you must see Dunnottar Castle located just a short drive from here. Had some gifts and fresh milk in the fridge on our arrival. The host lives next door so if we had an issue they were readily available. Definitely would stay here again.
