Summary: Everything about this place was just right, Clean rooms, comfy beds, and it was nice to have free WiFi, Such a great base for exploring the Sauerland region - we even went skiing at Winterberg!

Summary: We had a wonderful stay at the Graceful Apartment in Velmede! The location was perfect for our family, with ski slopes just a short drive away and beautiful hiking trails right at our doorstep, The apartment itself was spacious and well-equipped, making it feel like a home away from home, The balcony offered stunning views of the surrounding mountains, and we enjoyed our evenings barbecuing in the garden, Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in nature!

Summary: Perfectly situated for outdoor enthusiasts! We loved the close proximity to both skiing and hiking options, The kitchen was well-stocked, and we enjoyed cooking meals together, The communal garden was a nice touch, especially for our kids who had plenty of space to play, While the decor was a bit dated, the cozy atmosphere made up for it, Overall, a solid choice for a family retreat

Summary: We waren hier met onze kinderen van 2 en 4 jaar. We vonden het een fijn, schoon en heel compleet appartement (keukengerei, kinderstoeltje- en bed, spelletjes etc.). Alles dat je nodig hebt is aanwezig. Parkeren kan voor de deur. Gastheer is vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Bestwig is een dorp met verschillende winkels en faciliteiten zodat je niet ver hoeft te rijden, dat is prettig. Als uitvalsbasis voor de omgeving is het prima. Het appartement ligt tegen een steile heuvel aan en daar vandaan wandelen is mogelijk, maar niet ideaal aangezien je direct de heuvel op moet en ook zijn de paden niet erg interessant. Je zal een stukje moeten rijden naar betere wandelgebieden. Verbeterpunt is de check-in/uit tijd. Die kan beter aangespast worden naar 15.00 uur en 11.00 uur.

Summary: We stayed for 9 nights, 2 couples and a 2 year old. Plenty of room for us all, and a well equipped kitchen (including a dishwasher). The apartment was lovely and clean, and freshly decorated. Plenty of towels were provided and extra blankets. There is a balcony which is great for sunny breakfasts and evening drinks. The owners were very helpful and friendly , but left us too it. Bestwig was a lovely little town, a great base for exploring the area. There were 3 or 4 supermarkets in Bestwig, several bakeries and a lovely ice cream parlour.

Summary: Keurig net en schoon appartement, van alle gemakken voorzien. De eigenaar heeft ons persoonlijk verwelkomt, we voelden ons (2 volwassenen en twee kinderen 6 en 15 jaar) direct thuis. De omgeving is prachtig en heel landelijk. Fantastische uitzichten en mooie kronkelende binnenwegen waar je (zeker met de motor) fantastisch kunt toeren. In het dorp Bestwig kun je voor de dagelijkse boodschappen alles vinden op loopafstand. In de omgeving volop keuze uit prima restaurants, waar je voor Nederrlandse begrippen een bescheiden bedrag lekker kunt eten. Voor kinderen is funland (atractiepark op zo'n 15 minuten rijden) zeker een aanrader. We zijn zeker van plan hier nog eens terug te komen.
