Welcome to our family ranch on Turtle Creek. Turtle Creek is spring fed by Granada Springs, which can be quite refreshing in Texas. Granada Springs Ranch has an entertainment house, and bunkhouse that are all adjoined by covered patios and walkways. Enjoy the breath taking views of Turtle Creek and the hill country, as you sit on the bluff patio roasting s'mores or sipping wine. The entertainment house boasts a grande catering kitchen equipped with a everything you can imagine; a chef's dream! Perfect for large groups or families with plenty of room to gather around the massive rock fireplace and big screen TV. Up above is a loft with a comfy queen bedroom. The master bedroom has a king size bed, mini fridge, coffee bar, table & chairs and big screen television. The Cowboy room has a king bed, a rustic walk in shower with different sprays for a clean cowboy wash. Beside the Cowboy room is the Rose room with a king bed and nice claw foot tub for relaxing soaks. Walking down the rock terrace and steps you will find the Bunkhouse. The Bunkhouse has 2 sides, one with a queen and 4 twin beds, and the other with 4 twin beds, a table and coffee/wine bar. There is an adjoining bath with shower, and an outdoor shower for an all natural rinse. The views from every room are spectacular and unique. But we have a feeling you will be spending most of your days and nights at the covered pavilion grilling, roasting s'mores, dancing, fishing (catch & release, of course) or floating Turtle Creek.

Summary: This is a one of the best properties in the Hill Country for a family get away. Beautiful home with plenty of space and accommodations for an entertaining weekend. The water is clean, clear, and cool even in August. Texas drought or not, you will have perfect crystal clear Hill Country water for recreation.

Summary: Ideal for our family vacation. Every year we look for a vacation property for us ,our adult children, grandchildren, sisters and their children and grandchildren. It must include a creek that is swimmable and fish able, and have a large gathering area. This is it! We were concerned that the drought would make many creeks too low. This property has a great pavilion next to a spring fed creek. Even the 5 year old paddle boarded. We kayaked and tubed and fished. (And caught perch and a bass). And played washers and corn hole. The creek had lots of shady areas and sunny areas. The house is great too. Rooms off a walkway, full of interesting architectural details, an incredible kitchen, large gathering area big enough for our group. With elegant and comfortable decor.

Summary: This was a wonderful place to celebrate and be with family! The beautiful ranch is well appointed and inviting. The arrangement of the buildings met out needs perfectly. …..a real treat for those who need a hill country fix!! We never left the property. With the beautiful sunrises, sunsets, deer, birds, trails to walk, and cold creek; there was no reason to leave. We hope to return again soon. Thank you, Holly & Robert!

Summary: This property is huge, with plenty of space for large groups like our family of 17, ranging in age from 2-76. It’s beautiful, peaceful, and has something for everyone. The kitchens are huge and fully equipped, probably the best of any vacation home I’ve stayed at. One of the dishwashers was out of order, but luckily we brought paper plates so it wasn’t too much of a problem. The outdoor areas are perfect for dinner at sunset, wiffle ball, and S’mores around the fire pit. There are actually more tables and umbrellas than shown in the photos. The photos should really be updated, because they don’t highlight the best features, and some things (like the outdoor furniture) are different than pictured. The photos also show a handrail at the creek entrance, but that wasn’t there, and would have been helpful for the older folks in our group, as the rocks are slippery. Bring water shoes! There are umbrellas down by the creek that aren’t pictured, so those were a nice surprise. There were lots of floats, a canoe, kayak, cornhole, volleyball net, smoker, electric outlets, sound system, picnic tables, hammock, and some lounge chairs. No sink or toilet in the pavilion by the creek, but the house is just a few minutes drive up the hill. You have to drive for sure, as there’s no walking path, but that was fine. As amazing and huge and wonderful as this place is, just be aware that there is a very low ratio of showers and toilets to beds. People will have to be okay sharing bathrooms and showers because there are none in the common area of the farmhouse, and no shower for the rose room or sunshine room. Only one toilet downstairs (no shower) in the entertainment house which is inconvenient for people in the loft, and one bathroom for the entire bunkhouse. Our family made it work, and it was okay, but just be aware, as we found it kind of odd for an otherwise super accommodating place. Overall, we had a wonderful time, and we really felt like we had our own private resort! Holly was a wonderful host, very communicative and helpful, left us some welcome bottles of wine, and was flexible with checkout. We spent so much time just playing in the creek that we never even got out any of the games in the house! Maybe next time…There’s already talk of our family returning for future reunions!

Summary: The pictures do not do the property justice. It was beyond my expectations. There was something for everyone. We ranged in age from 3 to 65. It was a wonderful experience staying there. We had so much fun in the creek that we never left.

Summary: Mr and Mrs S were so welcoming, so kind and attentive. We had a wide range of ages spanning 3 generations and all had an amazing visit! There was plenty of room and so much to do on the property- fishing, kayaks, grilling, star gazing, dancing under the stars, amazing facilities for cooking with commercial appliances and only 20min or so to Kerrville. We felt like we were deep into the hill country with all the conveniences of town! Wonderful experience!

Summary: I don’t know if we were all in need of a break from reality, but Granada Springs felt like a little bit of heaven in the hill country. With the views and the evening breezes, the clear water and solitude, we could not have asked for a more perfect location. Our grand daughter said she did not want to leave.
