This large house is located in Newton Corner, one half mile from the Boston City Line and one mile from the Boston Marathon route. Downtown Boston, with all its historic sites is easily reached via express bus stop 3 blocks from house. Only a 15 minute ride from the Airport.
Close to Boston College and area universities. Within 5 miles of Harvard, MIT, Tufts, Boston University, Northeastern, Brandeis and Wellesley College.
Within 5 miles of Fenway Park!
The rooms are sunny and oversized with 9 foot ceilings. The house is comfortable and well appointed with a mix of contemporary and antique furnishings. A sprawling layout includes a living room and dining room connected by french doors. Perfect for large groups or families.

The kitchen is newer with stainless appliances and a cozy breakfast nook.
Two are enormous, measuring 18x24'. There is also laundry and a full bath on this floor in addition to a third small bedroom.

Only 3 blocks from the Downtown Express Bus which will connect you to the Subway system and all the historic sites in the Boston area. A car is not necessary if you plan to explore the city.
Within half a mile of the house is a Whole Foods and general supermarket, banks, drug stores, assorted restaurants and diners, several yoga studios, a YMCA, ice cream and fro-yo, Starbucks and other independent coffee joints.
Newton Corner is the perfect location for all of your Boston and New England explorations. A quiet, tree lined, upscale community with grand old houses, its just enough outside of the fray of the city, yet within easy reach of historic Lexington and Concord (5 miles), Cape Cod (60 miles), Cape Ann (50 miles), historic Salem, New Hampshire, the Berkshires and so much more.

Summary: Stayed at Molly's house while in Boston for a BC game. Was conveniently located - many of us walked to BC. House had f turning we needed and was a bonus to have driveway/garage parking. Only negatives where that only 2 bathrooms are tough when so many people - given the number of beds at least one more bathroom would be ideal and that there is major construction across the street that started Sat at 7:30am, so was tough to sleep and would have been helpful to know ahead of time. But otherwise a great stay and would rent again!

Summary: Beautiful historic Boston home. Space for 2 cars parked in tandem. Large home - plenty of space for my family and my sisters family. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of amenities that are great while you’re away from home like dishwash and laundry detergent, kitchen essentials which were all much appreciated. Great home!

Summary: This is a family-friendly home. We stayed in the first floor section, and found it roomy, comfortable and easy to settle into. One can tell the owner's family uses this space and quickly it feels like your own second home. The kitchen is completely stocked for cooking any meal you'd like; lots of thoughtful outdoor areas and indoor spaces give everyone a place to be. House is exactly as described. Please be aware that each of the two bedrooms on the first floor with the twin and bunk beds is accessed through one of the other bedrooms with the larger beds-- the four bedrooms comprise two sets of two bedroom suites. So if privacy is a concern, this may not be the rental for you. However, there is so much extra space that a large family could stay here without bumping off each other at all. Thank you Molly for your lightning-fast responses to my messages! We will definitely be back!
