Positive: Relatively clean. Coffee and tea available.just like soap and shaving gear.
Negative: The apartment was in the basement, with a very cold tile floor. Hardly any day light and windows would have to stay shut because of the rats crawling around the dustbins just outside. Airco went on and off and spread cold or hot air, independent of any schedule, and could not be controlled. Furniture is old and worn down. No cleaning during the stay, which at this price point and during a stay of a couple of days is simply insufficient.
Summary: Could be better.

Positive: The host was very responsive. The place is clean, with many amenities. The neighborhood is nice, although it is pretty far from downtown (but close to Harvard).
Negative: Constant noises throughout the night. The worst was the heating system. It felt like sleeping next to a blast furnace; impossible to rest.
