Positive: We had a wonderful stay at Michaël Lavandier’s apartment. The apartment is spacious, spotless, and sumptuously decorated; we felt truly welcomed into a bright, beloved home. We loved cooking in the fully equipped kitchen, and the rear terrace was delightful in the sunlight. Michaël was friendly and communicative on WhatsApp when we had questions - though the adorable feline host Ninou was “at his country house,” so we were not graced with his company. The location is fabulous, with the shops & restaurants of Nansouty conveniently just outside the door. Fifteen minutes on foot will get you to the Marché des Capucins or the Porte d’Aquitaine,and there are buses and trams nearby to connect you with the rest of the city. Highly recommended for anyone looking to explore Bordeaux!
Negative: We were looking forward to the jacuzzi and said as much to Michaël before we arrived, but it did not appear to be operational. We were busy enough that we didn't have occasion to ask, though - and we still managed to enjoy ourselves thoroughly. The apartment is on the cold side in March, and the heating was not quite up to the task; more blankets would be helpful.

Positive: Michel met us at the property to show us around and give us the keys, he was very helpful regarding where to find restaurants, Boulanger etc along with things we may like to do during our stay. We were also briefed on looking after his lovely cat while we were there. He spoke very good English and answered any questions we had. Buses right outside the door, so easy to reach other areas of the city
Negative: We found that the fluffy duvet covers rather uncomfortable and hot and would have preferred a cotton sheet or cover, no hanging space or room for suitcase in back bedroom. Although the apartment was clean, when we were shown the outdoor terrace there were two ashtrays full of cigarette butts there

Negative: Appartment was full of owners’ belonging. Food in the fridge, clothes, private belongings. It was more of a couch surfing accommodation. Definitely not a 9.0 booking appartment. In addition we had to take care of owners cat ??? I.e. feed him/her and have her in appartment during our stay

Positive: Beautiful apartment, very comfortable and well appointed. Very helpful host, easy to contact and answered any queries we had. We absolutely loved having Ninou the cat to share the apartment with. He always greeted us with affection when we returned at the end of the day.
Negative: We liked everything. We had no problems over our stay. Bordeaux is a fantastic city to visit.

Positive: Beautiful, rustic and clean apartment! Short walk to the train station and city centre - with supermarkets, bus, and tram stops situated very nearby. Spacious kitchen, comfortable beds, great shower, outdoor decking and most importantly the most handsome and gentle little kitty, Ninou!

Positive: It's an amazing apartment with a great location; close to the railway station as well as the city centre and restaurant district. It is very cosy and well equipped with all amenities. Michael is super host, very helpful, and easy to communicate. The check-in and out process is also very smooth. Truly recommended for bussiness or travel trips.

Positive: This Apartment was BEAUTIFUL!!!! It had everything we needed to be able to use the Kitchen. The bedrooms were cozy and comfortable. The Patio was darling, the Location was EXCELLENT the decorations in the building were awesome and lots of great mugs for tea and coffee! The shower was very nice and clean. Overall I would stay here again and again! Great little restaurant just down the street too. Close to a wine shop! Bus stop right out side the building! Market on the corner.
Negative: It rained so we couldn't use the Jacuzzi!
Summary: Absolutely amazing, the only complaint is that our stay was too short!

Positive: The property is very well located with a great patisserie, small supermarket and bistros and wine shops all close by. It is an easy walk into the city centre with bus stops right outside the apartment. The terrace is great for a morning coffee or an evening wine and the adjoining neighbour is very friendly. There is plenty of space in the living area and the high ceilings give an additional sense of space. There is access to secure parking that is close by , as well as the building, and apartment, being very secure. Michael is very friendly and informative, and is able to provide lots of suggestions for making the most of your stay. While we liked having a pet, be aware that looking after the cat is part of the deal! It is very easy to feel at home in this apartment.
Negative: The second bedroom is very small but this is compensated for by the very large living area.
Summary: Great apartment for visiting Bordeaux.
