Executive home built with a spectacular view of pristine Grand Lake 30 minutes from downtown Ottawa. Enjoy the comforts of this 4,000 square foot home, designed to enjoy the panoramic views of trees, water, sky and rolling hills. Unwind and relax amongst the healing beauty of nature and the luxuries this home offers.
This open concept home has a great room with a wood burning fireplace, vaulted ceiling and expansive floor to ceiling windows.
The kitchen features an island, two sinks, 3 fridges, and a gas stove. Dining room seats 10 and has sliding doors to the deck and barbeque. Adjoining the dining room is a large post and beam screened porch opening to the deck both with comfortable seating.
All four bedrooms feature King beds. The Master bedroom has a small deck and a spacious ensuite bath. There is a main floor bathroom and a laundry room with a washer/dryer and two heated drying racks.
Two bedrooms in the walkout level each have sliding doors. The bathroom has a large walk in shower and double sinks. All three bathrooms have heated floors and heated towel racks. The recreation area with a gas fireplace has a 65" TV witch provides Netflix, Prime, Crave-HBO. Google casting gives access to much of your personal devices entertainment. Adjacent to the home theater is a pool table.

Summary: We had the opportunity to ring in the new year in this beautiful country home packed with everything you need and more. From heated bathroom floors (and towel racks) to a kitchen designed for hosting, you will not regret booking a stay here. John was extremely accommodating and exceeded expectations with his kindness and generosity. Thank you!

Summary: Perfect place, perfect stay, perfect hosts! My family and I had an amazing week long stay at this modern, stylish, charming and bright home which offers amazing elevated views of the lake. As our stay was over the Christmas holidays the owners had the home beautifully decorated for the holiday! This was by far the best Home sharing experience that We have ever had. John and Lynn are amazing hosts and so quick to respond to our questions and needs, which we greatly appreciated! The beds were so comfortable! Very private location but still just a 10 minute drive to a main grocery store and 30 minutes to Ottawa. Would highly recommend!!

Summary: My family and I gathered here to celebrate my parents' 60th Wedding Anniversary and we could not have picked a better place. The cottage is spacious, spotless and the height of comfort. The owners have spared no expense to make this a top-flight experience. We loved the kitchen especially which has every amenity you can think of, and then some. We are already dreaming of our next visit. Guy

Summary: First of all the Hospitality of the Owners was better than what you get at the St Regis or Ritz!! You walk into the living room and see the lake from an elevated view. The views keep don't stop there; every room has a sensational view. Hummingbirds, Deer, quiet lake, fire pit, morning sunrise and......list goes on. If you want a private cottage get away that exceeds your expectations...you found the right place. Coming back soon!
