Welcome to our lake home. We love it and hope that you do too. It is large enough to accommodate up to 14 comfortably. Enjoy family or friend time with breathtaking views of Deviltrack Lake from many rooms, a cozy fire in the master suite or family room, or games on the lawn including playing bocce, bags or frisbee. There is also a fire pit by the lake for evening campfires and roasting marshmallows. Whether you have a large family or multiple families, this is the perfect oasis with many amenities.
Grand Marais is well known for its spectacular outdoor activities year round. Go hiking on the Superior trail, go mountain biking at Lutsen, go sea kayaking in Lake Superior, or just relax by the shore with your favorite friends and a cool refreshment. There is a 9 hole golf course just down the street, and a championship 27 hole course in Lutsen.
In wintertime enjoy downhill skiing at the Midwest's biggest and best ski area, Lutsen Mountain. The cross country skiing boasts some of the best conditions along with great views for all ability levels. Snowshoeing is also a great way to explore the forests! We also have the best snowmobile trails in northern Minnesota. There are local rental outfitters if you need.
For those who are looking to see the majestic moose, they are sometimes as close as our private road.
Grand Marais is widely known for its arts community. There are galleries, live theatre, dragon boat races, and much more. We have a plethora of outstanding restaurants, shops, and of course the North House Folk School.
Please enjoy also the use of the canoe and kayaks located near the shore. Please bring along proper life jackets.

Summary: This is our second time. We love the house, there is more than enough room for our family of 14. It’s very well stocked with everything you would need and Brian is great to work with. We will be back!

Summary: Location very convenient to Grand Marais. The lake is beautiful, clear water. Kayaks & canoe available. Brian has wood available for bonfires. Our family of 13 had ample sleeping room. Extra refrigerator for beverages. Wonderful week enjoyed by all of our family. Thank you Rambols!

Summary: Very nice property. Spacious, clean. Great for 4 couples. Handicap accessible was so nice for our friend in a wheelchair. Close and easy access to Grand Marais. Beautiful area. We’d definitely stay here again.

Summary: The weather didn’t cooperate as well as we’d hoped (rain). But we got our boat, a couple of their kayaks and a few fishing lines in the water for a bit. Had a nice bonfire down by the lake too. Nice separate bedroom areas. The kitchen was very well equipped, but the freezer was broken and pretty useless. All in all, everyone had a good time. Caught the last Music on the Lake at the nearby Lodge, so that was fun. Plenty of parking and good follow up from host when WiFi was down.

Summary: We all very much enjoyed our stay at this Devil Track lakehome. One of our many favorites was the early evening gathering at the lakeside fire ring where we all relaxed together after an adventure filled day. There was plenty of space indoors for all of us to be comfortable all week long.

Summary: We had a great, relaxing time as an extended family using the indoor space, including great kitchen and dinner areas and outdoor areas, including grill, outdoor games, canoes, kayaks and paddle boards. Brand new (June '22) dock, sandy/rocky swimming area. Brian was exceptionally responsive. Only need better mouse traps.
