Summary: Location is good close to the South entrance of the park. Restaurant choices nearby are limited. Two double beds is not my favorite way to go but better than one, but they were comfortable. Housekeeping staff was adorable, never saw them but left notes on 2 occasions that were very appropriate and fixed up the room exactly as I would have requested.

Summary: Missed the booking info saying no AC but fan was provided and it cooked down at night. Also didn’t realize there are several lodge buildings and 2nd floor is only accessible by 2 flights of stairs. Husband had to bring up everything because I have mobility issues. An alarm went off and on outside most of the night. My husband thinks it may have been a septic system issue alarm. Also registration is a stand alone building without the lodge name on it. Only says Registration and many campers mistake it for their registration area but it is only for lodges. Tiny shower with very small shower head and there is no hair dryer.

Summary: It would have been helpful knowing beforehand that you need to check in at the Registration building and that it is not one big lodge, but several smaller lodges. We drove around for a while until we decided to go into the Registration building and ask. Our room was not as clean as we would like it to be, mainly the bathroom. You need to make reservations for dinner at the restaurant, but breakfast and lunch, you do not need one. Be aware, if you are on the ground floor, the people above you sound like elephants running around.
