Positive: The location, heritage, culture, hospitality and the room were excellent
Negative: I could have used an iron box although they did volunteer to get it pressed for us.

Positive: It was beautiful, warm and home like. They have done a fantastic job in maintaining the french villa, combining modern comforts and heritage seamlessly.
Negative: The service is not 24x7

Positive: This is a beautiful laid back place, with polite staff and an old world charm. It feels like coming home instead of going back to a hotel. I loved their resident cats that bring so much character to the place. Location is wonderful, you can walk to many of the beauty points of Pondicherry such as the beach or the city gardens. Breakfast is okay, not too much choice, but wholesome with lovely croissants!
Negative: I understand the hotel is heritage, however the small rooms are a bit crowded with artefacts, and one keeps bumping into furniture, like a chair with extra long handrests, or unable to place small items on the dresser because there are plates and whatnot placed on them. The plug points are also somewhat badly placed, so I recommend the offer of an extension board to guests.
