Enjoy First Street beach with your pet at the dog park. Or maybe a fire in the evening is what will make the group happy, be sure to check out 5th Ave beach. There are so many fun and unique things to do in Manistee!
This home is perfect for girls weekend getaway, family time or the guys fishing trip. During your stay we invite you to make yourselves comfortable and claim 1 of 4 bedrooms as your personal sanctuary. Choose the roomy green room with king bed and original art showing scenes from the area. Or the cozy rose room with queen bed where you will enjoy the afternoon sun warming up the space. The final upstairs room is hidden away down the hall, the purple attic playroom with 2 XL twin beds. Curl up in the quiet space and use the reading light to finally read the book you've been saving for just such an occasion. Or check out the VHS/DVD collection. The 3 upstairs bedrooms share the newly installed (December 2023) bathroom with nightlights illuminating the space after dusk. And who doesn't like hummingbirds? You will find the fourth bedroom is off the dining area, the peach room with queen bed, dresser and large closet with close proximity to the main floor bathroom.
When it's time for dinner the chef in the group will certainly enjoy the high end non stick pots and pans and variety of spices to whip up a meal to remember. However, if you are looking for a break from meal prep, grab a beer and a bite at North Channel Brewing (2 blks) while you listen to live music (check their schedule). Or if you want more of a dining experience try The Golden Stag or Blue Fish, they never disappoint. If it is breakfast or lunch time we highly recommend Diner 31.
What is a gathering without an epic game of Foosball or ping pong in the garage turned game room. We have cornhole to enjoy as well. For indoor fun be sure to look in the game cabinet in the dining room for some inspiration..
One of the things we love most about Manistee are the pristine beaches. We love to walk a loop from 5th Avenue beach and North access via Rudy's path (look on Google). Walking the beaches at anytime of year provides great views and opportunities to find interesting rocks, driftwood and sea glass. Other favorites include Magoon Creek and Nordhouse Dunes.
Don't miss out on the Manistee River Walk that goes along the river out to 1st Street Beach to the piers.
