The house in the Altbauflair with high rooms was recently completely renovated and equipped high quality. The decor looks fresh and youthful, has been tastefully selected and has also recently been completely rebuilt.
In this beautiful guesthouse is currently a great very large apartment available, which can be flexibly booked for up to 19 beds (1 double bed) or 7 bedrooms - ideal for single occupancy (often at trade fair guests) or larger groups up to 19/20 People. - The unit is brand new furnished and nicely furnished.
- The 7 bedrooms have a total of 19 beds,
- Each bedroom is equipped with a TV.

Summary: Our family of 6 people shared two of the apartments so we had plenty of room. Unfortunately it was very warm in Esslingen and there was no air conditioning and no fans. The apartment was not very clean, especially the kitchen in the upstairs unit. One day we found a repair man wanting to fix something from a previous renter. There was no communication from the owner about repair man.

Summary: Fantastic spot for a large group. We stayed here as a larger group spread across the bedrooms. Only issue is one of the showers flooded easily, but otherwise the comms were fast, responsive, and great. For the full number of people it may be a bit too tight given toilet situation, but still, great spot!

Summary: We were unsure how long our activities and journeys would take on arrival day - so were unable to advise our check-in time. In the event - we actually arrived ahead of permitted check-in time - but phoned the host representative - who appeared in just a few minutes - and took us through check-in. We settled in quickly - and enjoyed our 2 nights there. We only really required somewhere to sleep - so made little use of the kitchen/dining facilities. The apartment was clean and tidy - the beds were comfortable - and the showers & toilets all worked well. It was good to have off-road parking to return to after each of our outings. The walk to the "old town" centre was easy and interesting - and we enjoyed 1 breakfast and 2 evenings out there. What a lovely place to visit, and to stay. I would happily recommend to any of my friends heading that way.

Summary: The owner has created a great place for a large group/family to stay during a visit to Esslingen or even the Stuttgart area. The kitchen has everyone one would need while the bathrooms are clean and modern. If you are a family traveling, be aware that there is no common space other than the kitchen/dining area though. That said, each room has a table and chairs plus its own tv. We stayed in three rooms - one had its own shower and toilet. There was a large toilet and separate shower room for the other two rooms to share. Two of the rooms had doors leading to a patio which is covered with triangle shade panels. It has been outfitted with two sets of tables and chairs plus pots of flowers and plants. We thought it was a lovely place to share a meal outside or for the children to color pages or play a card game. The rooms are clean and bright with large windows - and it appears that all the rooms have been freshly painted and the floors recently done. There is a washer and a drying rack in the basement for those who are staying long enough to need that. Of course you will need to bring your own detergent and if the model is not one you are accustomed to using, the instructional book is written in a number of languages. The furnishings for the whole apartment appear to be new and are nice quality. I wasn't worried that an upper bunk bed (with a restless sleeper in it) was going to fall down on a sleeping sibling below. They were quite solid. One of the rooms has a double bed at the bottom of a bunk bed. Our rooms had a armoire for storing hang up clothes. There is a parking spot - although, if we were out in the car until late in the evening, it was likely that someone else would be in it - and yes, there is a sign indicating that it isn't a public parking spot! Shops are conveniently located as is a park for the children to play. There is a lovely bakery around the corner and a Norma grocery store 5 minute walk away. It is only a15 minute leisurely walk to the old townhall with an interesting and unique clock tower. With so many lovely ice cream shops, the difficulty was choosing which one to visit! Also, one is just a short S-bahn ride away from Stuttgart. We fell in love with Esslingen! We did have trouble with the payment process. I am still not sure what happened - between VRBO and billing department and owner getting his money - but my family enjoyed our visit in Esslingen.
