This home has been updated yearly all the amenities of a home sweet home. Sandy beach island 7 houses down with lounge chairs, picnic tables and grills. Perfect sunsets. Sandy beach across the street. Walk to restaurants Prime 7 ,It’s a matter of taste. Russell park 1/2 mi away with 5 plays scapes, horseshoes,2 big swing sets, climbing wall. Alpine ski lodge, Huron Valley Hospital, great neighbors! Grill and electric fire pit on my deck.

Summary: We had everything we needed and then some! Booking and check in process could not have been easier. The home is beautiful and Dixie is a gem to work with!

Summary: This is an updated, beautifully decorated home, with the best stocked kitchen I've ever seen in a rental. Beds and couches were spacious and comfortable (and the young kids were entertained by playing with the two airline seats). We were in the area for a wedding, so didn't get to fully take advantage of the home or the immediate area, but we enjoyed coffee on the front porch every morning, looking out at the lake (between the houses across the street). The host, Dixie, was super-responsive to our questions before booking and during our stay. We enjoyed our stay!

Summary: This is a beautiful, clean house that has been made into a home. You will not want to leave. We stayed a week & we wanted to stay another. Close to everything, walking distance to beaches. The host is wonderful & very accommodating. We are definitely going back next summer.

Summary: We chooae to stay here because it was very close to family we were visiting. The area was great. We loved walking down to the beach and the private island. The main floor has been nicely updated and was perfect for our needs. The host was responsive to my questions and very nice. However, im shocked by how many 5 star reviews this house has. There were cobwebs everywhere and definitely not as clean as i would have liked. The upstairs area felt like the hosts bedroom and the stairs leading up there are quite steep. The bed was very uncomfortable and it was very hot. My husband and i eventually just slept on the couches downstairs. The host told me she would pull out the pack n play and high chair but she didn't, which is fine, except the high chair was buried under a bunch of stuff. Towels were difficult to find and water pressure was terrible. Overall, the stay was fine but i probably wouldnt stay again.

Summary: Bright, clean and creative! Homemade brownies greeted us. A wonderful spacious kitchen. Great furnished porch with a water view. A cozy master bedroom with a balcony. We enjoyed our stay and would love to return! Thank you Dixie, Ron, Mary Ann, Stephen and Loralei!

Summary: Cozy house just steps from the water. The private island is for sure worth visiting, especially for the sunset's. The kitchen is amazing and has literally anything you can think of or need. Dixie is beyond an amazing host, she exceeded my expectations when it came to communicating and made this trip so easy from the moment I hit book. Thank you Dixie and we look forward to a return trip soon. 5 STARS across the board !

Summary: The place is fantastic and the location is in a great spot. So close to many things but the water is the best part. Lake living lives up to its promise in late summer here! The owner is an amazing host and superb communicator. This is our second visit to her location and it’s hard to say goodbye to the wonderfulness of her place and our old friends. Beds are comfy and the kitchen has everything you need.
