Positive: Beautiful beach front resort. Garden room was large, lovely decor leading out to garden with sunbeds. Excellent service . Personalised check in was special. Thoughtful, generous welcome treats.
Negative: Buffet food was very good quality but got repetitive sometimes. Shouldn’t have to pay for water at dinner. Beach cafe food was expensive.

Positive: We stayed at the hotel over the Easter week, the very beginning of the summer season, and couldn’t be more impressed with how smoothly the hotel was running! The hotel is well-designed and spacious, there are plenty of social areas for family chit chat and cute alleys for taking a walk. We loved seeing all the palm trees and hearing birds chirping throughout the day. The staff at the hotel were super friendly, without an exception, and genuinely interested in helping guests have a great time. There are two swimming pools to choose from: one for kids with slides, another one for adults, and a carefully maintained beach with lazy chairs and a beach bar. The restaurant is great and operates very efficiently, we never had to wait for more than 5 minutes to get seated, even during the peak time. And I don’t need to tell you all how amazing the Cretan cuisine is. In short, this is an absolute gem of a place to stay in!
Negative: I would recommend improving the gym since it has only a very basic equipment right now and could benefit from sprucing up. Other than that, all was great.

Positive: Staff were great, the hotel was lovely and located on a large beach which was great. The waves were too big for our toddler when we were there so we also visited other beaches by car.
Negative: It is not in Rethymno but a 10min drive.

Positive: This resort is gorgeous. Excellent breakfast, fantastic room service, gorgeous spa, superb housekeeping, impeccable beach. Extra love for the staff, who are all so friendly and professional.
Negative: An adult-only pool would be nice. SO many children at the outdoor pool, all of them screaming and shouting. Say no to plastic straws! They get into the sea despite our best efforts and they’re harmful to marine life. Would have loved more Greek food. Spanikoptia, Moussaka, dolmades, baklava, avgolemono…
Summary: Absolutely glorious spot with all the best amenities. Highly recommended.
