Positive: This is a family-run hotel - nothing fanciful. The lady owner is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast provided are local cuisine - "Xiao-long pao", "yu-tiao" and soybean milk

Negative: The rooms are pretty spartan and cold especially in the evening.

Positive: The location was excellent for what we needed to do. The room was very clean. It was quiet and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a very pleasant time there.

Positive: Staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel is a family run business by an elderly couple. Hotel room dated but generally clean. i think the toilet was recently renovated. Simple breakfast provided and staff made effort to give variety.

Negative: 20min walk from Miaoli station. Wardrobe smells musty so didn't use it.
