Positive: This homestay gave us such a warm and comfortable feeling. The grandma is incredibly kind, friendly, and caring, always making sure we were well taken care of. The house is very clean, and she even helped us clean our clothes without charging anything. She also shared cherry tomatoes, fruits, and eggs with us. Staying here felt like being with family. We are very grateful and would love to come back.

Negative: The staircase is not suitable disabled people.

Positive: Guan ma is the sweetest!!! Honestly can't recommend this homestay enough! Guan ma prepared cherry tomatoes and biscuits when I arrived, and she was more than happy to chat with me about life in Taiwan and her family. Really felt like I came home to my grandma's place. When she found out I had to leave very early the next day, she helped me to call a taxi and offered to wake up extra early to cook me breakfast. The facilities are also pretty great, but there is no lift in the house and the room is on the 2nd floor, so you can leave your luggage on the first floor and just bring what you need upstairs (that's what i did). Hot water is hot enough and water pressure is great. The house is in a quiet neighbourhood and you can see lots of stars on a clear night. This place made my stay in Miaoli 10/10. Would definitely come back

Positive: The lady was very very nice and friendly ! She cooked for us late that night when we arrived. Rooms are spacious and compfy. Beds are good quality!

Positive: Very convenient location, a short way off the highway but also close to center of Miaoli. Quiet location. A very friendly host. A spacious room.

Negative: Only small details: Steep stair to second floor. Shower splashing in the bathroom (no curtain).

Positive: Miaoli is a place that for relaxation, hence, Guan Ma did provide a place that clean and comfy to relax ourselves.

Negative: No lift. You need to carried your luggage to climb all the up to level 3. If you got knees problem I will not recommend, because the stairs are very steep and narrow. If your luggage is huge and heavy I will not recommend too.

Summary: Overall stay is acceptable, Mdm Guan is a very friendly and nice lady.
