Positive: The Greenstar Vaasa was a great choice. The hotel is quite new, clean & comfortable with all the necessary amenities at a great price. The location is within a short walking distance of the center. 2,5 km from the University of Vaasa. Parking is available at the back of the hotel, both outside and in the garage (accessible with a keycard). Parking costs 13 euros/day, or you can pay by the hour. Same price in or out. Parking is paid at a pay-and-display machine (with a credit card) or via the Parkman app, which is a bit more expensive due to its management fee. There are 3 EV chargers.

Summary: Great value for money. All the essentials, good quality, yet inexpensive

Positive: Very kind reception staff, easy check-in / check-out, good sound-proofed windows (we had a room on the ground floor overlooking a junction but noise was not a problem). At the end of the corridor there was a sort of a kitchenette with everything you needed to brew a cup of tea or coffee or even warm up a bite to eat. The fridge with locker-boxes for each room was useful, too.
