2 Bedroom House in Candler, Ocala

Fresh 2 bedroom 2 bath home, with a game room (& laundry) located in the garage. This home is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, and has parking in the driveway for 2 vehicles (one directly behind the other).
-Walk to Cross Florida Greenway (right by Ocala Greenway Disc Golf Course)
-10 minutes to Silver Springs State Park
-15 minutes to Santos Trailhead
-20 minutes to downtown Ocala
-25 minutes to Florida Horse Park
-35 minutes to World Equestrian Center (18 miles)

Our Greenway Getaway home offers 1,114 square feet. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms, a dedicated workspace, a garage with ping pong and darts, and an airy and spacious main living area, we hope you will enjoy the thought we put into all the details.
SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS: We have two bedrooms, one with a King size mattress and one with a Queen size mattress. We use the Zinus memory foam mattresses for these beds. We use lightweight quilts and have room darkening curtains in the bedrooms.
We also offer two twin size Folding Beds. You can choose where to set them up! They are stored in the closet of the Green bedroom, along with sheets, a lightweight quilt and pillows.
We also have a Pack'N'Play for your use, but do not provide bedding for it :)
KITCHEN: We tried to think of every thing we need when cooking & serving meals. Pots, pans, cutting boards, blender, toaster, knife set, mixing bowls and measuring cups & Spoons etc. For your coffee needs we provide a mini size drip coffee maker and a Keurig (we provide a few pods to get you started).
A selection of glass/plastic plates, bowls & cups are provided as well as silverware. If you are curious if we have a certain item feel free to reach out!
OUTDOOR SPACE:
The front patio has two seats and a coffee table for your use.
We have a large, grassy backyard for you to enjoy but it is not fenced.
A short walk down the road will lead you to the 64th Avenue Road entrance to the Marjorie Harris Carr Cross Florida Greenway. This entrance has a disc golf course, miles of trails available to walk, run or bike and take in nature.
Guest access:
Guests will have access to everywhere in the house except for a supply closet located in between the green bedroom and the main bathroom.
There is a ring doorbell at the front door that is motion activated audio/video recording. This is only used if there are complaints and for the security of the property.
Other things to note:
Garbage Service comes Tuesdays and Fridays, the garbage can is located outside of the garage man door for your convenience. We have the neighbor bring the garbage to the road and back on garbage days for your convenience. Please bag any garbage you put into the can:)
We have a pest control service that visits once a month to spray the exterior of the home.
Lawn Care comes every week in the summer and as needed in the winter. Due to weather the day of the week can vary but they are usually gone in about half of an hour!
We provide one set of discs for use during your stay. If you should lose a disc, break a dart or ping pong paddle-please let us know! We understand accidents happen but want to come prepared so that the next guest can use these amenities:)
We do NOT provide cable, but you are welcome to sign in to one of your own accounts (Hulu, Disney+,Netflix, etc.) and there are plenty of watch free options available as well! We love the PBS kids app for our kids!

Summary: This is a great little place to stay right outside of Ocala. Tucked in a quiet neighborhood but close enough to anything you need. The house was super clean and decorated nicely. There were extra blankets and pillows. It was supplied with toiletries like shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Coffee and coffee maker. Big TVs with all the apps you could ask for. The garage is equipped with ping pong and darts which our kids played for hours! The only down side I can think of was the neighbors rooster who started crowing around 4am! But we had ear plugs so that solved the problem. Would highly recommend this house for a quiet getaway!

Summary: Needed a quick overnight stay. The property was phenomenal, and the the host was great at communication. The only recommation I could make would be to include some form of shampoo or body wash in the shower. Since this was a quick trip we weren't traveling with any. But overall would definitely book again.

Summary: We LOVED our Florida trip here! My husband, adult daughter, 7 year old grandson and I stayed for 10 days! This house is so cute! Super clean. The boys tossed football in the backyard almost every day! Quite, safe neighborhood. Not far from Silver Springs or the Equestrian Center. We were able to do a day trip to Clearwater and another day trip to St. Augustine, each night coming back and feeling safe at our "home". It is stocked with a fun assortment of card and board games that we enjoyed playing as a family, creating some of our best memories! Fun times in the gameroom garage too! Kitchen had everything we needed to make meals at home, we just added the groceries. Washer and dryer so we could pack light. Check in was SO easy! The owner's are amazing! Always available, kind, pleasant and friendly, answering immediately! Shaina even answered my question when she was at the park with her children! She made me feel like we were "old" friends! WE WILL BE BACK!

Summary: We found Shaina friendly and easy to work with. The house is nicely renovated. It allows a lot of sunlight to come in. We played ping pong most every night, took walks on the trails in the nearby park and played tennis on the nearby courts. We really enjoyed our visit and if the need arises again we would definitely consider this property. Very nice!

Summary: This property was clean, functional and recently remodeled. It had everything we needed including coffee pods and bottled water to get us started. The home was well designed and much better than a hotel. Others gave great reviews that were well-earned and we're so glad we followed those reviews.
