Positive: Everything. Spotlessly clean, warm, comfortable. Finished to a high standard, with some nice touches such as milk in the fridge, tea & coffee, toiletries etc. Short walk to the Montrose basin. Next time we visit the area this cottage will be at the top of our list.
Negative: Nothing of any significance. The 9am departure, Whilst the reason for this is explained in the information, it is a little "brutal" - 10am has been the norm for most of the other cottages we have stayed in, and would make for a more relaxing stay. This is a small price to pay however, and I wouldn't let it get in the way of staying here again. The only glitch we had was being woken by Taylor Swift at 2am on the Sonos sound system on our final night. We hadn't used the system during our stay, and can only assume that one of the adjacent cottages or a previous resident had managed to connect by mistake.
Summary: One of the best cottages we have stayed in over the last 30 years

Positive: A quiet and relaxing cottage we used whilst we were visiting family nearby. It had everything we needed and had a home from home feel about it. Milk and orange juice provided which was a nice touch.
Negative: I cannot think of anything apart from maybe getting names put up for each of the cottages above the door or something for ease of the holidaymakers, but that's just a very minor thing.
