Positive: The property is in a lovely old Swedish manor house. I don’t think it will remain a bed and breakfast for long, unfortunately, as the new owners have other plans. The property is convenient to the Swedish glass works, and it’s an easy drive into Kalmar (which has a great castle), and Växjö, which has a wonderful glass museum and emigrant museum. The breakfast at Grimsnäs Herrgård was very good, with a wide selection. And the owners kindly allowed us to do a load of laundry, and made a kitchen available to us. Our room was charming.

Negative: There are very few decent restaurants in the area.

Positive: The environment is very beautiful, quite and you can enjoy the beautiful starry sky at night. Service is good and room is clean. The hotel staff is very friendly. Perfect for family.Breakfast is good, but could be great if provide little bit more choices.
