Summary: We were looking for somewhere to stay in easy distance of Bamberg/Coburg/Bayreuth with hiking. We were very happy that this place fitted all our requirements. The apartment was clean and well cared for with everything we required to make our stay extremely enjoyable. Our hosts were friendly and helpful. Would thoroughly recommend this apartment.

Summary: We were travelling with 2 adults and 2 children (13 and 14 years old), this accommodation suited our purposes really well- enough space inside and nice patio outside. This a separate building from the main house with common patio. This place is within short (5-10 minutes) walking distance from the Weismain town centre where you can find good restaurants, the closest grocery was some 15 minutes further. There´s also beautiful easy walking routes in the close by forests, also just 10 minutes away. The host family was really friendly, we managed well with my poor German with the help of the family son who speaks good English. The only negative thing here was the non sufficient ventilation in the apartment during the moist weather, it was difficult to get the wet clothes dried. Otherwise a perfect selection for us!
