Welcome to Austin Roadrunner Retreat! This lovely ranch-style home is centrally located in between Austin and Dripping Springs, on Hwy 290, where you will enjoy access to numerous restaurants, breweries, wineries and many other inviting establishments that make Dripping Springs famous. You will also be just a short drive into Austin! Please note there is major road construction on Hwy 290 around the house and therefore the prices have been significantly reduced.
This single-level home with a lower-level family room, is spacious with 5,448 square feet of living space, seven bedrooms and five full bathrooms. Larger groups will enjoy this property as it can accommodate up to 18 guests.
You'll enter the home through the front door and then you step into the great room, holding living room, kitchen, and dining area — all with lovely tile flooring throughout.
Living Room: The spacious living room offers comfortable furnishings, a Smart TV and convenient access to the patio and backyard.
Kitchen: The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a glass top electric stovetop, double ovens and a convenient center island prep area. Enjoy the lovely breakfast table with seating for six.
Dining area: This area offers a table with seating for 12 and windows for plenty of natural light.
Family room (lower level): This bonus room offers sofas, including a queen sofa sleeper, a 70" Smart TV, game table, ping pong table. There is bar area with seating, a refrigerator and microwave for easy entertaining. This room also has access to the patio and backyard spaces.

Master Bedrooms 1 and 2— Each master suite offers a king size bed, Smart TVs, and private bathrooms with tub/shower combos.
Bedroom 3 — One king bed and one queen bed, Smart TV, built-in cabinets and lighting for a unique makeup area, private deck. Private access to a shared full bath with two sinks and a tub/shower combo.

Summary: We’ve stayed in this area previously. Loved the size of the house and accommodated 12 of us easily. Close proximity to the wedding venue. We made great use of the pool. Loved the lower level entertainment area. All the nephews/nieces played video games all night long. Plenty of bathrooms

Summary: Overall - this VRBO is perfect for large groups. Everyone had their own space and had no major issues. The pool is huge and was great for our pool day at the end of our stay. The only true negative - surrounding construction made it difficult for us to get Uber/Lyft. They found us eventually, though!

Summary: This property was just what we needed to fit our 9 guests. Bedrooms are large and beds and linens are very comfortable. House was clean and in great shape with multiple large living spaces for our group. The only reason I gave the neighborhood 4 starts was due to construction which it to no fault of the property manager or owner. At the time of our stay the highway was down to one lane which made it hard to get anywhere in a timely manner. Hopefully they will finish the construction soon. Even with this inconvenience, I would stay in this house if needing accommodations for a large group again.

Summary: Amazing property such a great location large house with a lot of space. Had a bachelor party there and everyone had a bed to sleep on. Only gripe I have is the construction but there is not much you can do about that!!

Summary: Wow! What a beautiful home. An enjoyable experience to say the very least. Pool was well maintained, check in and check out were seamless, it really couldn’t have been much better. We’ll be back!

Summary: Some coworkers and I spent two weeks at this location. There were plenty of space to accommodate everyone so everyone had their own bed. They enjoyed the pool on their downtime. Communication was great with the host. We would definitely stay there again.
