Peace and quiet in a scenic, serene and secluded setting in the Virginia countryside. Experience a stay in our family friendly guest house. An upstairs balcony overlooks the woods in this fully furnished retreat. For the health and comfort of all, no pets are allowed in the guest house. Thank you for your understanding.
The upstairs bedroom overlooks the pool and features a King size bed, a dresser with mirror, nightstands and plenty of closet space.
The Ground Floor living area is the perfect place to relax with the family or simply sit and read a book. The couch pulls out into a comfortable queen size bed and stows away during the day to provide a social sitting area!
The fully furnished kitchen has everything you need to prepare breakfast, lunch or dinner right here in the guest house.
The Living Room & Dining Area includes a hassock that opens into a cot and also a futon.
WiFi covers the guest house so you can stay in touch if you need to!
Relax by the pool (in season). We have inflatables ready for you. There are also two adult bicycles you can use to explore the country roads in the surrounding area.
Have family time around the fire pit and then let the kids bring sleeping bags into the tree-house and have their own adventure in the woods! The tree house comes complete with real windows & screens, built-in kid-sized bunk beds and an electric light.
Location is 20 miles from Colonial Williamsburg. Jamestown, Yorktown and Busch Gardensare nearby.

Summary: The host couple were lovely people. We had everything that we could wish for in the little cottage; the pool was beautiful; and the TV system was super user friendly. We arrived with a fresh fruit basket, english muffins, walnut banana bread and a bottle of mulled wine. It was a lovely stay and I would certainly stay again. It was convenient to Richmond and all of the things to do near Williamsburg, Yorktown and Jamestown. A truly wonderful stay.

Summary: I stayed here as it was close to West Point and I ran the Chesty Puller 10k race. It was only a 15 minute drive to the start line, but the property has all the country feels. I loved the pool!! That was my main draw to the property. Art & Dottie could not have been more accommodating, and I even attended church with them on Sunday! This was a perfect weekend and I could not have asked for a better place!

Summary: Our family absolutely loved staying at this comfy guest house! We enjoyed the pool, basketball & birdwatching! The guest house was fully stocked ! Certainly felt like home away from home! Art & his wife Dottie were awaiting our arrival & greeted us as we arrived. They showed us around the house & told us if we needed anything to just call or knock on their door as they live next door. Definitely a great stay & looking forward to stayin again!😀

Summary: This was the perfect place to stay with my family for a short weekend trip. Close enough to the attractions, yet remote enough to be away from all the noise! We saw many wild animals from our deck - deers, hummingbirds, birds - that my kids loved!

Summary: We took a family vacation to visit colonial Williamsburg, and found art and daddy’s home on Vrbo. Art and Dottie are both very thoughtful and caring and made sure that we had everything we needed. Their property is beautiful and peaceful and just very relaxing. Would highly recommend Art and Dottie’s location to anyone staying in the area.

Summary: We travel a good bit and this has by far been our favorite stay. From the greeting when we arrived to the homemade banana bread to the treehouse camping for the kids, this place checked off everyone’s must have list. Dottie and Art are are the kind of people you want for your next door neighbors. Breakfast items were provided and the spiced wine was nice after a long day touring the sights. We are now trying to come up with a reason to be back in this area!

Summary: This place was all that it was advertised. Art the owner of the property and his spouse, were wanderful, they made myself and my family feel so at home, and my kid love talking to his wife. Art is an avid Orioles fan and I am a Yankees fan, I could forgive him for that one error in judgment. But on the serious side this place was everything we wanted, a mini resort. My kids enjoyed playing in the tree house. I would recommend this place to stay for anyone visiting the Williamsburg area. Excellent!!!

Summary: Looking for a relaxing no pressure vacation. The guest house was in the woods, very peaceful and relaxing. Dottie and Art were very welcoming and in addition to an extremely stocked house added a personal touch in providing home made banana bread, cereal, wine and many other extras. They were always available but let us come and go as we pleased. Great stay
