Positive: The family is very nice and accommodated as best they could my vegetarian diet and egg allergy. The location is perfect for hiking My Korab and its environs. The trailhead is across the street from the guest house. The room I chose had a big bed which was very comfortable. The views from the place are idyllic. There is no parking area with this guest house, but since I was the only one there, I was able to park out front without problem. Breakfast is included.

Negative: The water pressure in the shower is abysmal. The design is such that the bathroom floor floods after 1 minute of the water being on. It does not drain. I thought it might after a day of hiking, but when I came back, the floor was still sopping wet. I had to ask for a squeegee and had to continuously squeegee as I showered and afterward to not be standing in a pool of water, and to not get soaking wet feet every time I needed to use the bathroom. (Shower / sink / toilet are all one room) The room was cold and there was no heat. Luckily they had one electric space heater that I was able to use. I don't know what I would have done if there were other people staying there who also would have been cold. The dinner was overpriced. I ate one night at the place next door (a much bigger guest house where lots of tour groups go) and the meal was half what it cost at my guest house. But the guesthouse next door gets loud and everyone smokes inside and it was hard to breathe. Locals come and smoke at this guesthouse, too, but there are less people who come and they are more courteous and will go outside to smoke if guests are inside.

Positive: Great location. Superfriendly staff, amazing and very helpful. We had quite many questions since our aim was to climb mt Korab and Agron went above and beyond to assist us with knowledge , (and even lunch-packages). Superb value for money.

Negative: Somewhere to dry wet clothes. (Maybe there was, but we didnt find/ask)

Positive: Agron and Sara are wonderful people, food was delicious and nutritious, room was simple and comfortable, and Mt. Korab was spectacular.

Negative: Power outages were somewhat too frequent for me. Nothing to be done about it, but it made a longer stay more difficult for me.

Positive: The owner was very friendly and helpful. The house is right in front of the path to the Mount Korab and other routes nearby, perfect for hiking. The owner made us breakfast the two days we were there, it was very good.

Negative: They have turkish style toilets, the ones that are a hole on the floor, so for people who are not used to it is a little uncomfortable. They only accept cash due to the bad reception they get in the mountains, so you need to come prepared. And in our room, a lamp light shone directly into were I was sleeping and I couldn't lower the blinds because they were broken.

Summary: Though it had some rough moments, it was overall a very pleasant stay

Positive: We were really happy to spent 2 nights in this lovely cottage under the mountain. We were welcomed with very friendly owner.Room was new and cozy. Breakfast that were included was nice and big enough to get all energy needed. It is the best spot to stay if you want to hike to Korab or even enjoy a nice mountain view from your room. Definitelly can recommend this accomodation! We will be returning once again in bit warmer weather for sure!

Negative: Shower is not really smartly built, water kinda gets all over the floor of the bathroom.
