Positive: I was welcomed into this lovely family with open arms. The house was exceptionally clean and the vibe was very nice. I had my own private room and the hosts were very accommodating, they were able to organise an eagle demonstration which was an incredible experience. They made me feel very comfortable and had an amazing free breakfast cooked with love

Positive: Location, quiet, but within walking distance of stores and downtown. A bench to sit outside in the yard. Clean and well maintained. The price is very reasonable, an excellent value for the money. The included breakfasts are amazing, there was a variety of food and very generous portions. We also had dinner at the guesthouse both nights and it was excellent as well, tasty, lots of food and great apricot juice from their own apricots. There was dessert food with every meal as well, if you have any room left for dessert. But the best of all was the host and her son and daughter. Everyone was so welcoming, we had wonderful conversations during the meals and learned more interesting things about Kyrgyzstan and answered whatever questions we had. The owner helped us with hiking plans and called a taxi for us. The daughter speaks English and German in addition to Kyrgyz and Russian. It feels like we made new friends. If we have an opportunity to come back to Bokonbaeva, we will definitely stay here again.

Positive: I had a wonderful stay at Arnas Guesthouse. The lovely couple and their two beautiful sons made me feel so welcome, just like family. They were incredibly generous, providing me with heaps of delicious food throughout my stay. I will never forget their amazing homemade jam and the fantastic kattama — absolutely unforgettable flavors! They were always caring, constantly checking if I was comfortable and warm enough. Thank you so much for the warm hospitality and the memorable experience.
