Summary: Englendingavík is a small guesthouse on top of a restaurant, but it wasn't noisy at all. The room was cozy and clean, we had a private shower and a kettle. The kitchen was great, but you had to walk outside a bit to get there.

Summary: The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and cozy. The only disappointments were that the hot tub was drained and the restaurant was not open. I’m not sure if this is standard in the winter or just due to covid.

Summary: While this is a historic house, the room was very well kept. It was very cute and clean. The hotel is on the same property as a restaurant that was also delicious. The historic charm of the building was so fun to be in and the town has a great local pub.

Summary: This is a well located property with a well-regarded restaurant on site. The rest of sights are within walking distance as well. The check in was done at a restaurant and was easy although the staff did not seem very welcoming. The room itself was recently renovated, clean but would benefit from better quality beds.

Summary: It's a homestay. You get a room and share baths/shower, kitchen and living room with other guests. No lift, as said in the info, but didn't expect the staircase to upstairs to be so steep! Old house turned into guesthouse/homestay. Quite run down, including most of the equipment in the kitchen. Only used the fridge as dishes was cleaned by hand by those who rented rooms. Wifi did not work. We did not try the whirlpool and did not eat at the restaurant. Nice views and easy access to the town and ocean on foot. Beds were good! Might stay again if I got a room on the ground floor. It's a good alternative for those who don't mind it being an old rather run down house in need of refurbishing, and who are fit to climb steep stairs. Definitely not the place for people who are walking impared. The staff was nice!
