Summary: What a gem this place is! Right on the golf course outside Borgarnes, this hotel offers beautiful views and delicious food. Of course there is also sauna and hot tub.

Summary: One of our favorite stays in Iceland. Scenic views around the hotel with a small patio. Room was a comfortable size and the included breakfast was well done.

Summary: Very nice hotel. Allowed very early check-in. Breakfast included. Bath tub which my wife loved since almost every other hotel did not have one for the 3 weeks we were traveling in Europe and Iceland.

Summary: What an amazing experience! Our room was lovely with an amazing view of the glorious mountains. The staff was very helpful - we appreciated the 2 am wake up call to advise us of the Northern Lights. Breakfast was very nice as well.

Summary: The views to the mountain from the rooms and cottages are spectacular. Had we had a clear night Im sure we would’ve been able to see northern lights from the comfort of our rooms (they offer call service in case the lights are visible and ask you at check in if you want to be woken up). Heating was an issue since it took several hours for the effect of the heater to kick in (more than 3hs with the floor heater on and room still felt cold). When I asked at reception they kindly installed a small heater to help warm up the room and that did the trick. Staff was super attentive. The sauna was absolutely delightful but only downside was that the one on our side of the property was undergoing maintenance and we had to use the one all the way across the building and in between the cottages. A squeegee in the sauna would be nice so one can wipe off the condensation and enjoy the view outside. Another great spot to be to admire the night sky. We had dinner at the restaurant wich was yummy and filling enough, portions were adequate and prices according to everything we paid in the island. Breakfast is super complete with various options to satisfy all individuals. Overall I would recommend and would stay again.

Summary: Beautiful hotel. We stayed in one of the cabins. Modern, clean, comfortable. The breakfast was the best we had all trip and the staff were friendly and nice. I would definitely stay here again. They also have a sauna and hot tub and offer to wake you up if they see the northern lights.
