Positive: Superb small house, the owner is amazing and caring, the place is clean and relatively close to restaurants and the train station. The best part is definitely the owner, such a sweet lady who helped me find things around town, offered me food and just was so nice to hang around with. Also her dogs are super cute

Positive: The couple running the place are really kind, they treated me like family. We ate together, chatted together, they told me all the best onsen and restaurants around the house. They were so kind, it’s hard to describe. The house was cleaned and functional and there are a lot of onsen and restaurants at a walking distance from there. I stayed one more day just to be around those people more. Thank you, Taku and Midori for a nice stay.

Positive: The room was very nice. The night I spent there I was one of two people so we each had a room to ourselves and it was very quiet. The hosts didn’t speak much English and my Japanese is still very broken, but they were incredibly friendly and accommodating.

Positive: This is definitely the best hostel experience in Japan this time. My room is tatami room so you sleep on the mat just like scenes in manga. Hosts are super friendly and welcoming. They do not speak much English but Google translate does the job. They even took me to an amazing local BBQ restaurant(燒鳥) which was beyond my expectation. Btw they have two cute and energized corgis you might come cross.
