Ospedaletto 57 is a unique dwell surrounded by a spectacular garden with swimming pool in the hills of Romagna. Once a barn, it has been remodeled into a modern idea of residential space, open and full of light. Despite its quiet and secluded position, it is just a few minutes drive from Faenza, a lively city in the heart of Italy’s most beautiful between Venice and Florence, a privileged starting point to explore the most interesting locations of the country.
Originally the farm tools depot, the GuestHouse is the outcome of a recent renovation that transformed the previous warehouse in one large open space with mezzanine, full of light, which can now accommodate up to four people. The original concrete truss-beams together with the natural wood flooring create an industrial and modern environment, yet very cozy thanks to the huge tile stove and to the selection of reclaimed interior objects blended with contemporary design elements. The dwell is solar powered and heated by the wood burning tile stove. It features a small kitchen complete with all appliances, accessories and tableware, a disabled accessible full bathroom with shower, a half-service bathroom, a queen size bedroom at mezzanine level plus another bedroom with two single beds on the main floor.
The swimming pool (14x7 mt) and the main park are shared with the owners and their guests.

Summary: Lovely house, nicely decorated in a lofty, contemporary style. The house shows that Italians and design go hand in hand. Since it is a loft, it is one big unit (except for the bathroom), so if you are 4, you're sleeping in the same 'room'. The house is amazing, but more amazing is the garden, or rather park. Almost 2 hectares, with lots of trees, flowers and a very nice vegetable garden, where the guests can collect whatever they like. And of course the huge swimming pool, enjoyed by all of us, but most of all by our children of 10 and 12. When we were there, there was no one in the main house, so we had it all for us. Maybe one minor point (but it was not really for us): the kitchen equipment is rather limited: there is no oven or dishwasher.

Summary: We had a good time at Ospedaletto. It´s a very nice, modern and clean Loft and we liked to discover the pictures and the interesting books in the house. The owners are very friendly and helpful! Ospedaletto is surroundet by a wonderful garden. We were allowed to pick up fruits and vegetables. Delicious! The swimmingpool is big and warm and includes an area with massage jets. We discovered the charming villages in the surrounding area and enjoyed the italian lifestyle. Near by the village Faenza we visited the „Kunst Garten“ which we recommend if you are interested in art. At Ospedaletto we get new ideas and power for our work at home and hope to come back soon for another holiday!

Summary: We stayed in the house for 5 days and it was really beautiful. A nice and quiet place to be. The house was clean, has a lot of space and everything was there. We loved the swimmingpool. Very friendly people!!
