Positive: Beautiful spa location akin to best in Arizona! Very quiet, comfortable, great food.

Negative: Charged extra at breakfast for a latte or cappuccino??? Only place we stayed all week that did that, thus lost one star in rating.

Positive: Large room, very nice facility.

Negative: Wish there was a better way to cool the room besides just opening the windows, which lead to more light. The hot springs are not as nice as they look but still a wonderful experience.

Positive: The Hotel was in a great location and the complementary thermal pools were a very nice touch. The restaurant and breakfast were also very good.

Negative: We thought the decor of the hotel was very dated compared to many other places we stayed in Iceland. It felt more like a re purposed aged care or hospital facility rather then a four star hotel. The rooms were also very bland. It was also very expensive compared to other far better hotels in Iceland.

Positive: Location was great. Rooms are comfortable with great landscape views. The international staff was super friendly and helpful, assisting us in planning all our excursions. The on site restaurant was amazing, their Austrian Chef has received many awards and his crafted menu is amzing, honoring the local cuisine.
