Summary: My stay at Hotel Caron Le Marais was excellent, the room was clean and well equipped, and is large enough and comfortable for two people. The personnel was attentive and helpful. The location is excellent, in a quiet street one block from a major subway line, near a charming square, and walking distance from major sites like Place de Vosges, Bastille, the Seine, Nôtre Dame, and Ille St. Louis.

Summary: I was looking for a hotel near the Marais for a single night. The Hotel Caron fit the bill perfectly. The room was small but enough for one person for a single night. The only thing I didn't particularly like was the green shag carpeting in the room, but it's clearly a part of the design so maybe just my personal taste. The continental breakfast was adequate, although located in the lower level "cave". A little dreary but this is nitpicking. I would definitely stay there again.
