Positive: Hotel staff are very friendly. The petit dejeuner (breakfast) spread is EXCELLENT and highly recommended so that you don't have to waste time searching for less desirable alternatives; it included sliced meats and cheeses, breads and pastries with jams and honey, dried and fresh fruit, some granola stuff and yogurt and cherry tomatoes, juices, coffee and tea. The room was clean and comfortable and the street quiet. It's a short stroll from the Place d'Italie metro stop (a great location for those visiting the Museum National d'Histoire Naturelle). Truly excellent value for cost.
Negative: The bathroom facilities in my room were older and had tolerable quirks or flaws. Notably, the bathtub/shower was higher or higher-walled than usual, and the only thing handy to hang on to when you step out is the freely swinging half-door. It was fine for me, but might be difficult or hazardous for an elderly person with poor mobility.
Summary: Affordable small hotel with comfortable rooms, friendly staff, and a great breakfast option.

Positive: The hotel is very clean and it provides amazing quality and cleanliness for its price according to Paris standards. The staff is very nice and polite. It has a very good location, safe and quiet street with a police station and cafes / restaurants closeby.

Positive: Great as usual - size of room was superb on the ground floor, large with a king sized bed and very comfortable. Best thing as always is everyone at the hotel - they are wonderful people!!
Negative: Having a mini fridge would be fantastic!

Positive: Excellent location in the lively neighborhood of Place d'Italie, next to two metro stations (Place d'Italie, Gobelins) and a few stops from several main attractions. Friendly and helpful staff, spacious, clean and quiet room, very good breakfast, digital TV with numerous channel options, and all that at a very reasonable room rate.

Positive: The breakfast was advertised as continental, but it was an upper scale continental breakfast, well maintained with fresh items. The hotel was housed in a typical Parisian apartment building, with its special atmosphere. The room was very quiet.
Negative: The bed was too hard. The room was quite small, but I think that is what you have to expect. The elevator was very small and cramped, and made stops beween the floors, so you had to walk parts of the stairs anyhow.
