Positive: Spacious, beds were so comfortable, plenty of room for our family of 4, location was amazing less then a block to the beach, walking distance to tons of shops and restaurants in the charming downtown Carpinteria neighborhood

Negative: Unfortunately during our stay there was construction so the property was fenced off in several areas and the pool and spa were closed. We look forward to returning one the pool re opens.

Positive: We have stayed as a family with a child. We liked it all! There was PS for the kid, TV with NBA for the man and pools plus jacuzzi. We loved it and felt like home. Recommend!

Positive: One word: wow! Hale l'a is an amazing find, such a perfect place in such a perfect location and all for the price of a hotel room. Hale l'a is spacious, modern and tastefully furnished with all the comforts of home. It feels like a 2nd home, with its 2-story layout, fully functional and kitted out kitchen, double shower and open plan living space. It is very private and so so quiet, very relaxing. Solimar Sands has a communal pool and hot tub, and it's literally less than 60 seconds from the gate to the beach (we counted). Supermarket and a nice variety of restaurants are minutes away and the ever lovely Santa Barbara is only a 20 minute drive. Hale l'a exceeded all our expectations and we were almost sad to be moving on after 5 days here.

Negative: Could use a little mood lighting in the living room.
