Positive: A lovely big home with ample bedrooms and bathrooms for our large group. Lovely location and very secure.
Negative: Only 3 matches left for gas stove - we were non smokers. Some crockery was dirty and had to be rewashed. Only 1 tea towel for drying dishes. BBQ was dirty. Needs some maintenance.
Summary: Worked well for our short stay with a large group. Just needs a few minor tweaks to make this home grand again

Positive: We required a large house that would provide individual beds for 7 adults as a group of us were attending an event together in McLaren Vale and we wanted to travel together to and from that event from one location because we live all over Adelaide. We also made a group dinner booking at The Boatshed cafe which was 5 mins away and very nice. The property was great - lots of space to sit inside and outside to eat together, a huge fridge to store our supplies, a dishwasher for so many plates and glasses, and a large lockable garage.
Negative: Everything was great for what we needed. Our original booking was for 8 individual adults and we thought there were up to 9 individual beds however there were only 7 individual beds. (There is no bunk bed in the house - but there is a cot). One of our guests was unable to stay so this did not affect the stay in the end.
Summary: Great home base for a group if you want to travel to / from a wedding together in McLaren Vale.
