Positive: 1. The hotel is stylish, either outside or inside. A lot of plants everywhere, I liked it. 2. Laundry services (self-service). Not expensive, but extremely useful for a long stay in Japan. 3. A water fountain is available, as well as the ice machine. No need to buy water again and again at the local konbini shops. 4. All the small things which are provided by the hotel are genuinely good quality (all kinds of hygiene amenities, tea & drip-coffee etc.) 5. We had breakfast only 1 day out of our 6-nights-stay, as Tōkyō offers so many cool options for breakfast, but I have to say that the hotel breakfast was surprisingly good for 3 stars. No regrets.

Negative: 1. No one from the staff (at least between those workers with whom we interacted) spoke more or less good English. When we had some technical issues about the room or when we wanted to ask some questions about the city / the transport - unfortunately, the staff was unable to help. 2. The location is not the worst, but far from the best either. There are some metro stations around, but they all require quite some walking (from 10 to 18 minutes). After such days when you, as a tourist, have already walked 10km, it’s a bit painful to walk extra 15 min back to the hotel. 3. The room is very small (but it’s normal for such price) and for 2 people with 2 (or more) suitcases it’s complicated to put things. In my opinion, some extra shelves or at least hooks on the wall could have simplified the stay of guests. 4. We could not use our steamer for clothes because the hotel sockets were 100W only. Everywhere. At the reception there was no voltage converter (the staff did not know it exists), only adapters, which wasn’t a solution.

Summary: There are some disadvantages, but they are not that important. If I will come back to Tokyo, I may come back to Hamacho

Positive: Really nice and quiet area but not far from the station. The restaurant area and breakfast was really good. The staff member who helped us check in and do luggage transfer was really helpful and efficient! I believe her name may have been Emily. The beds were also really comfortable.

Positive: The rooms were simply "WOW" and everyone was really nice! 🥰🥰🥰🥰

Negative: At breakfast it was always too cold and draughty and the music was far too loud - once the piano was even tuned. Also, everything was always cleared away at 10:00 sharp and it was kindly pointed out that breakfast was over!
