Summary: The basics were ok. I was disapointed that both the Gym ánd the pool were out of service at the same time. After a long drive I wanted to do some excersice and that was not possible..

Summary: Chose to stay at this hotel because we are Hilton Honors members and have the Hilton AmEx card. We did get an upgraded room but only because our room was not ready at 2:49 pm and would not be ready for a 3:00 pm check-in. There was breakfast and it was decent, considering the places to eat in town. They had cookies and sodas and beer/seltzers at 5:00 pm every night as well. On the second day, there was no room service, had to go retrieve fresh towels from the front desk. The third day, it was mentioned that the trash needed to be emptied and we got room service that day. The shower was broken as the water temperature could not be regulated, it’s either cold or scalding hot. This was mentioned to the front desk and nothing happened. The pool and jacuzzi were closed for maintenance which is odd as it’s the off season and it was chilly and they are both indoors. We only stayed Sunday through Wednesday but we would not stay here again as the entire town seems to be extremely lackadaisical about time and respect for others time. If we visit the area again, we will probably stay in Fort Davis or Fort Stockton as there are more places to stay and dining is more readily available.

Summary: We'd stay here again...not fancy and a little dated but overall happy with our room and the cleanliness was good. The lady that runs the breakfast buffet does a great job and just what we needed before heading out for the days adventures! About 25 miles from Fort Davis and 110 from Big Bend. About 45 miles from McDonald Observatory.

Summary: Glorious beds! Lovely, clean room. I always try to find a Hampdenn Inn if possible. Below par here: breakfast. I count on a great spread, but this time at 9:15 the biscuits and gravy were gone, waffle batter was out, 3 pieces of fruit were available and the last hard boiled egg was eaten! Not good!

Summary: Very friendly staff. Breakfast was good. Bed super comfy. I stayed at the Hampton Inn as well as Holiday Inn Express and I definitely preferred the Hampton Inn! Would stay again.

Summary: The check-in was quick, and the room was spacious. It would be nice if the front desk was more accepting and did not wrinkle his face and eyebrows. 😉 The entrance lobby's awning roof blocked the room's window. The next-door unit was loud after 10pm. The breakfast food is okay and check out is at 12nn which works for me.
