Positive: The location was great. The space for the suites was great for our large family. The bed was FANTASTIC and the a/c kept us cool all night!
Negative: The breakfast was okay. While there were omelets, chicken (?) sausage, and grits for hot options, none of them appealed to many of us. They are more southern options, so it would be nice to have just egg & cheese omelets, regular sausage, etc. as options.
Summary: We were able to book last minute and not suffer a price increase.

Positive: The staff was SO FRIENDLY!!! Seriously - the ladies who checked us in and out and the woman who greeted us at breakfast made our stay the pleasant experience that it was. Breakfast was also great!
Negative: I want to preface this by saying the staff was so friendly that I believe if we had said something, they would’ve accommodated us. Our room reeked of mildew and the bed sheets and towels were damp, but we arrived so late we were too exhausted to complain or ask for fresh ones. I definitely think the hotel needs to check the rooms for mold because I’m pretty sure I saw some on the ceiling. There was also sand in the bathtub, which I found a little strange. Nothing was so bad that we didn’t just suck it up and go to sleep, though!
