Summary: We had a lovely stay at Hamsteels Hall in the Bull Pen. I don’t feel the photos do it justice as it looked better in real life. We had everything we needed for a short stay and it was in a peaceful location which was just what we were after.

Summary: Wonderful place and concur with all the reviews except; the cleanliness of our room, the hen house. Webs and cobwebs all over the place, many occupied. I had to get the hoover in the bathroom to get rid of 5 big spiders, and their webs. The cobwebs all over the place have been there a long time. This wonderful place is seriously let down by unacceptably poor housekeeping. The windows, sills etc have accumulated so much filth; this is neglect. If you are afraid of spiders then don't come here as this will be your worst horror movie.

Summary: The property was not cleaned properly . Dirty microwave, cupboards. There was a strong odour in bathroom. A lot of the windows not cleaned with insects and dust. Lounge area ok

Summary: I stayed in the henhouse. This was a very large dwelling place with a full kitchen in living room and a very large bedroom. It’s perfect for a family or a solo person just needing a couple of days where they can cook along their travels. It’s located in a beautiful area, the owners have sheep and a farm but it’s still very quiet. You can park right outside of the front door.
