Positive: The experience was good. We wanted to stay in a traditional Hanok and this place delivered. We were greeted with delicious, chilled plum tea and with a little "gift" as well. It's very close to the large palace, which is convenient, and there is shopping nearby as well. The bus stops and the train station are about an 8 minute walk away. There are a variety of restaurants in the same alleyways where this Hanok is located.
Negative: The room was tiny, and the mattress was on the floor, so it was difficult to get up in the morning. Additionally, the shower is right over the sink/toilet, which is not traditional in the western world, but I understand that this might be more common in Eastern cultures. No shoes inside the room (they give you slippers to wear), and you have to turn off the AC when you go out, which is unfortunate for the summer time. Additionally, we were instructed to keep our volume down as these old structures have very poor noise isolation.
Summary: Good location and sweet, traditional Hanok experience; even the size and lack of soundproofing!

Positive: We loved our stay at Hanok Hanok! The staff were absolutely wonderful; extremely helpful and friendly. They were very respectful of us and did not push any interactions, but as soon as we initiated they were happy to open up with recommendations and conversation. From the moment we booked our room they communicated with us to make sure we would get the experience we were looking for, which was very appreciated. Our rooms were wonderful (we stayed in two different ones over the week and loved both); they are cute and stylish while also being very functional. We loved the little bathrooms and all amenities were provided! We also found the beds extremely comfortable; we slept well every night. The location cannot be beat either! So close to the main Seoul sights, a subway stop right around the corner, and so many amazing food options just steps away. Nothing can beat the charm of a traditional hanok, and this one has the perfect blend of traditional with modern touches. We will definitely be staying here again on our next visit to Seoul!
Summary: Wonderful staff and comfortable rooms!

Positive: The fan installed on the ceiling was comfortable and the bedding was comfortable. The feeling of hanok was alive well.It is also close to the station, so it will be easy for travelers to visit. The bathroom is small, but it is well-space-separated. I could sleep quietly at night. The host is kind. She is good at explaining.Cafes and bars are also operated, so there is a separate space for drink tea, cocktails, and eat food inside.
Negative: The room is a size that makes it difficult to do other activities other than sleeping and simple packing. It is also a pity that there is no parking space. Due to the nature of the hanok, there was a warning to keep snacks in the refrigerator because there could be insects (ant), but it was difficult to store snacks because the size of the refrigerator was small. If you're going to buy a snack, buy a small one.
