Summary: Our room was not ready at the time we were told it would be but the host was nice enough and comped us some beverages. However. The ad is not clear that there was no lift. The room was on the fourth floor.

Summary: Hanover 71 is a nicely restored historical structure, furnishings are nice and all the usual toiletries are provided. The location is also good. We ate breakfast at the restaurant downstairs and the food was excellent both times. The literature in the room says you get a 20% discount but was actually given a 10% discount which was still appreciated. Be aware that there is no elevator so if you have any mobility or strength issues, getting to the mid and upper level rooms with luggage will be a challenge.

Summary: Clean, great location, renovated and styled room. Drawback was that hotel was renovating main floor and there was smell from the paint lingering up to the room.

Summary: Neat place. Note there are 79 steps to the top floor (rooms 8 & 9). No AC if you are there when it is warmer. Enjoyed the separate rooms as we had 3 guests. Quiet room and decently comfortable bed (firm mattress). Would stay again.

Summary: The downstairs of the property is under construction, so it was noisy and dusty. However, the property is close to everything. We were out daily, so the construction didn’t bother us that much.
