Large first floor*( *2nd floor North America) one bedroom flat overlooking a private garden in exclusive Georgian cul de sac, off Heriot Row.
The spacious first floor apartment comprises a large double bedroom with en suite. The kitchen area has a gas cooker/ fridge/freezer & dishwasher, and includes a utility area with washing machine & dryer.
The large living room, which overlooks the beautiful private Queen Street Gardens, has a separate dining area. All bed linen, towels, pillows and duvets are provided.
The apartment is a few minutes from Waverley Station by taxi. Wemyss Place is just off Queen Street, which runs parallel to George Street. The main shopping area of Princes Street is within easy walking distance. The apartment also has a secure parking bay at the rear of the building.
The apartment is in a very quiet area and yet so close to all the amenities and attractions, within walking distance such as Edinburgh Castle, the Royal Mile, with Holyrood Palace a short drive away. There are many bars, restaurants, coffee shops and boutiques several minutes away in Rose Street.
Edinburgh's famous castle is especially beautiful. Upon entering the city, it commands immediate attention. The eye of the visitor is drawn to the impressive structure rising high above everything else on its sheer granite cliffs. There are incredible panoramic views from the upper stories of the castle, including a clear view of the distant sea. The castle sits high on the huge rock formation that juts out as if in defiance of any who would seek to invade Edinburgh. Castle Rock, as it is known, is inaccessible on three sides, and has a long, descending ridge on the fourth side.

Summary: We had a lovely stay in this stylish and characterful property. Very spacious rooms with a great outlook onto Queen Street Gardens. As others have said, a quiet location despite being in the heart of the New Town. Warm and cosy even though the weather was quite chilly!

Summary: A lovely stay in Edinburgh. Comfortable and posh - a rare combination! We liked the location, the parking, the laundry facilities, the views. Spotlessly clean. Very accommodating hosts who allowed us to shift our booking dates by one day at very little notice. Would highly recommend.

Summary: My wife and I had a fantastic stay at this apartment. The location is unbeatable, walkable to all the major attractions in Edinburgh. The parking spot was very secure and very easy to use (coming from an American driving on the other side of the road) - we had a car equivalent to a Honda Civic hatchback and had no troubles getting thru the alley or maneuvering into the parking spot. Having a washer and dryer was also a huge plus - these were very easy to use and worked extremely well. Shower was great, plenty of pressure and hot water, bed was comfortable. We didn’t use the kitchen much, but it looked like it had all the accommodations needed. All in all, nothing to complain about, and I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a fantastic place to stay that is close to downtown Edinburgh, but still easy to access by car.

Summary: This place is perfect for a visit to see the old town and the new town of Edinburgh. The apartment is beautifully decorated with high ceilings and very large rooms. It is in a very quiet location, yet near everything in a very busy city. The parking space was a huge bonus. We parked the car and never needed it since you are within walking distance to all of the main attractions. Most of our favorite restaurants and pubs were within a few blocks of the apartment.

Summary: 10-minute walk to Stockbridge area; 10 minutes to Princes Street; great restaurants nearby on Rose Street; private park (Queen Street Gardens) right across the street. And the room has full kitchen, laundry, and separate dining/living room. Great place — would stay here again.

Summary: The apartment is fantastic! I stayed three nights and throughly enjoyed my stay. The apartment is located in a quiet neighborhood in but you can easily walk to Princes Street in 10 minutes. I loved the setup of the apartment and it had everything I needed, and then some. The hosts were very communicative and gave clear instruction for using the apartment. I wish I could have stayed longer!
